The first five guidelines are referred to as the yamas--a Sanskrit word that translates to "restraints"--and encompass nonviolence, truthfulness, not stealing, nonexcess, and nonpossessiveness. The last five are referred to as the niyamas, or observances--purity, contentment, self-discipline, self-study, and surrender. Great sunscreen and smells fantastic. Not sticky or greasy feeling, but the bottle seems a bit small for the price. Took it to the beach for the 4th of July week and it was the first time I didn't come back with my "base burn". So it really works well. Great size for carry-on travel, but again a bit pricey for the amount you get.
