1/2" IPS HDPE Electrofusion Pipe CouplingElectrofusion Couplings make it easy to repair damaged HDPE pipe. Sizes 2" 20" are available with FM Approvals. Approved Pipe Wall Thicknesses include SDR 11 and below (thicker).
Fusion time and cooling time are clearly marked on the barcode label of each and every fitting. In addition, they may be obtained using a barcode reader.
Couplings are equipped with a red colored self-recognition terminal pin that communicates fusion time automatically to Plasson Controllers (the Smart-System solution) when the terminals are connected according to instructions.
These fittings may be welded successfully at ambient temperatures from 14 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 to 45C).
