This Guide to Desert Plants of Bahia de los Angeles is designed for use in the Bahia de los Angeles area, surrounding deserts, and the Midriff Islands in the Sea of Cortez.

It is structured so that it can be used by anyone interested in determining the names of desert plants, and scientific terminology is kept to a minimum. For example, if you discover a plant with blue flowers, consult the blue flower section to find the plant.

This Guide has 12 Sections each covering a different plant feature. Many plants will be found in more than 1 Section therefore allowing easier identification. Most plants have multiple color photos to enhance positive identification.

Most plants will have obvious flowers or at least one feature that matches the classifications in the guide. Photographs throughout the book make identifying and learning about plants quick and easy.
