The slimline 38 mm wide footprint makes it particularly suitable for use on doors with narrow stiles. The unit is operated by a thrust of the cross bar to give a speedy exit in panic situations. For situations that require the panic latch to be linked to a monitoring or alarm system, a microswitch can be fitted in the slave unit.

The Exidor 501-B/AD panic latch is designed for single and double door applications. The slimline 38 mm wide footprint makes it particularly suitable for use on doors with narrow stiles. The unit is operated by a thrust of the cross bar to give a speedy exit in panic situations. For situations that require the panic latch to be linked to a monitoring or alarm system, a microswitch can be fitted in the slave unit. The microswitch closes/opens an electrical circuit when the cross bar is operated.
