The bit tips are machined to exact tolerances for precise engagement with fasteners. The extra length of the long bits allows you access deep into narrow, recessed areas. Die-stamped markings are permanently impressed into the socket with large, clear size numbers that are easy to read even in low light settings and can't wear off. The bit socket's polished chrome plating protects against corrosion and wipes clean to a mirror finish. The deepest parts of the socket well, where nickel and chrome layers cannot be deposited in sufficient thickness, are protected with an additional thin layer of clear coat, rather than conventionally-used silver paint, to prevent rust. Exceeded expectations.
Color: Blue
This simple yet effective case covers the back with a clear plastic window and fully encases the remote's edges. My kids dropped the old remote far too many times, and being made of aluminum, it dented and the IR piece in the front broke. I even bought a new remote, BUT, once I put this case on the old one (gluing the IR window back on), I discovered I no longer need the new remote, as this will last a long long time. I wish I had bought this from the start.
Why didn't I? because I thought it would make it bulkier. Sure it's a little wider, but feels pretty good in the hand, and the weight difference is negligible.

A durable and reliable solution to protect your Apple TV 4K remote

A simple but rugged and durable case for such a fragile and expensive item. The case offers great padding and support for the remote. It fits perfectly over the shell of the device but adds little bulkiness to the overall feel. It is compatible with the most recent iteration of the Apple TV 4K remote. The buttons are easily accessible on the front and the case does provide ample support for the Siri button on the side. Depending on which color variant you choose, the case is easily visible when you inevitably drop it on your bedroom/living room/entertainment room floor.

So well made you could mistake it for an Apple designed case

I searched Amazon for a remote case with touch control sensitivity and this looked like the best option available. I did not check specs, that’s on me. When I received it I realized it wasn’t what I had hoped for. I am glad for the mistake, this keeps the back of the remote scratch free. The case fits so well it could be mistaken for an Apple made case. The edges are raised just enough to protect the controls. It has a nice feel to it and it’s easy to grip without fear of it slipping out of your hands.
