Domaine Coustarret is located in the beautiful and lush Béarn region of France, nestled at an altitude of 380m against the Pyrénées mountain range. Besides its delicious and generous food tradition the region is also famous for its Jurançon white wines, both dry and sweet, made with the local white grapes: Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng.

Domaine Coustarret has been passed down for seven generations. Driven by the knowledge of his ancestors and the passion for his profession, winemaker Sébastien strives to highlight the unique typicity of Jurançon grapes. 

Rigor, patience, observation allow the vine to produce the best fruits that will overflow with flavors and rare expressions. The vineyard has been officially certified as organic farming since 2020 and has respected biodynamic practices for 5 years.

Elevation 2024 is a naturally sparkling white wine (Petnat) made of 90% Gros Manseng and 10% Lauzet that features small lively bubbles, a deep golden colour that announces the intensity of its aromas (mainly citrus/exotic fruits typical of Gros Manseng grapes, with additional hints of citrus, white fruits and floral notes from the Lauzet grape) but less the relative and pleasant dryness and sharpness of the mouth.

With a good finish as well this sparkling wine is a top notch Petnat, easy to drink as it should be but a real wine with complexity and depth that will surely positively surprise your guests as an aperitif but can also be paired with desserts and even shellfish.
