Overview
The Metrel MD9273 100A AC TRMS Leakage Clamp is a high-quality general-purpose clamp meter with a 28mm jaw designed for a variety of applications. This new Bluetooth variant allows connection to the Instaltest XC (MI3152) or Instaltest XD (MI3155). Combined together they provide a solution for measuring from a safe distance. The XC or XD can record inrush current from the MD9273 and display data in a table or graph form. They can also be used to generate a 128 Hz signal that the MD 9273 can filter and follow for cable tracing. When acting as a remote clamp, the MD 9273 can send data on current, voltage, power and harmonics. Used independently of other test equipment it provides a robust and professional instrument with advanced functions such as a VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) filter. As a leakage clamp it can read the TRMS AC leakage current of a system, detecting losses.
