ATGBICS Sandvine® compatible 100-00481 40GBase QSFP+ to 4 SFP+ Active Optical Cable operates over Active Fibre using a wavelength of 850nm over MMF with a cable length of 5m. This product operates within a commercial temperature range. It is suitable for short reach connection between 40G QSFP+ and 10G SFP+ enabled host adapters, switches, and servers in 40G interconnecting networking applications and provides a cost-efficient way to connect hardware within close proximity racks. This breakout cable connects to 1 x 40G QSFP+ port on one end and to 4 x 10G SFP+ ports on the other end.

The concept is amazing! I saw my classmate using this for boards (NPLEX)and I decided to get it. I only used it a few times though and never picked it up again because I suck at memorizing and prefer to just learn it the old school way. It’s cool if coloring is how you study. Maybe using it to wind down from an intense study session.
