Robbie Fulks' debut album - now on vinyl for the first time - was the surprise hit of '96, and at the time served notice that a) Country Music did NOT have to suck b) that he was a top-notch songwriter and performer and c) things in the underground country scene were never going to be the same. Truly the bar had been raised. Let's let Robbie describe it: "13 original country songs with an early 50's production aesthetic (hot vocals, robust bass, live instrumental tracks) and arrangement, reviving certain types of songs long abandoned by mainstream country music. Likewise in retro spirit, these songs will frequently violate current country songwriting trends which hold as taboo themes of negativism, forceful expression, and points of view uncongenial to the prevailing ideology of fatuous feelgoodism; they will instead reflect a modern sensibility in their emotional graphicness, vigorous iconoclasm, and sense of humor. In composition and presentation the music will honestly reflect the heart and personality of it's author/singer, and in it's fundamental sincerity will stand resolutely against the poisonous tides of camp." Co-produced by Steve Albini, and features appearances by the Skeletons, and Tom Brumley (of the Buckaroos!), and drop-dead, now classic cool honky tonk gems like "Every Kinda Music But Country," "The Buck Starts Here," and the sing-a-long fave "She Took A Lot Of Pills (And Died)." Best sub paper!

This is actually my second box of this paper I purchased. I use it that much! I like it that much! It works easily through my Epson 2850. The sub ink transfers to this paper with vibrant colors before pressing. I like the ASub print on the back to help me load the paper correctly in my printer. The ink does not bleed through the paper. I like that this paper comes in a plastic bag and in a box. This is helpful to keep the moisture out of the paper. The paper is durable as I try to manipulate on my substrate.

Good choice in sublimation paper!

Vibrant Results and Great Value!

HTVRONT Sublimation Paper 13x19 inches – 150 Sheets Review
I recently purchased the HTVRONT Sublimation Paper (13x19 inches, 150 sheets, 120g) and I’m genuinely impressed with the results! As someone who does a lot of sublimation printing for both personal and small business projects, I found this paper to be a fantastic choice.
Pros:
Excellent Print Quality: The colors transfer beautifully and vibrantly onto my blanks. Images come out crisp and true to the original design.
Generous Size: The 13x19 inch sheets are perfect for larger projects like T-shirts, tote bags, and even custom pillowcases. It’s great not having to piece together smaller sheets.
Easy to Use: The paper feeds smoothly through my inkjet printer with no jams or smudging. Instructions were clear, making the process straightforward even for beginners.
Consistent Results: Every sheet in the pack performed consistently, with no noticeable defects or wasted paper.
Value for Money: With 150 sheets in the pack, it’s a great deal for the price, especially for anyone who does frequent sublimation work.
Cons:
Requires Sublimation Ink: Just a reminder that you’ll need sublimation ink for best results (not regular inkjet ink).
Storage: The large size means you’ll need a bit of space to store the pack, but that’s a minor issue.
