Everyone loves a good ghost story. Phantoms of the Paramount, Shadows on Third Avenue, The Legend of Ann Lake, The Boy in the Red Cap. Veteran ghost hunter Michael Norman has uncovered almost three dozen stories of legitimate Minnesota eeriness to thrill readers. Norman, author of five nationally popular collections of ghost tales, interviewed local storytellers and combed newspapers to document legends involving supernatural and strange occurrences. Following old and fresh leads, he gathered stories from all over the state. Ghost stories have existed as long as humans have been telling tales. Perhaps they rise from our curiosity about what happens to us and our loved ones after death, perhaps they explain phenomena that we do not understand, or maybe, just maybe, the dead do walk the earth. Norman does not attempt to prove or disprove the existence of ghosts but instead allow readers to make up their own minds. his tales feature people's strange and paranormal experiences in quite ordinary places, including homes, theaters, B&Bs, and restaurants. Many of the engaging and hair-raising accounts involve strange and frightening incidents of the last fifty years; some tales document very recent unexplainable or spectral events. The book includes a list of sites open to the public and documents the hauntings' locations-from Taylors Falls and Pipestone to Northfield and Nobles County-for Minnesotan who may want to "pass through" the sites. Beware: these stories do not have conclusive endings, since they remain mysteries to this day. but perhaps that's best. An ending would just take the fun out of it. Michael Norman is a retired associate professor of journalism and mass communication at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He has assembled and cowritten five collections of American ghost stories including Haunted Wisconsin, Haunted Heartland, Haunted America, and Historic Haunted America.Binding Type: Paperback

Squeakers or Soaps?
Size: Small, Style: Macaruffs
These are gross. They are a great size, but I am not certain they are dog toys. They feel just like soaps. They don't squeak because they are hard (again, like soaps). And they smell so much that even after we put them back in the box and then in the bag, it lingered for over a day. Cute, but not a chance I would give these to my dog.

Keeps the doggo happy
Size: Large, Style: Crinkle Fry
I had to replace my bully’s previous french fry. It’s great for strong chewers but will not last forever. It will deteriorate and as a result can cut doggo’s mouth. It’s his favorite toy.

Very Hard & large toy
Size: Large, Style: Crinkle Fry
Harder and made from a different material than the other bark toys I have purchased. I think the others are nylon. Very durable just not as satisfying for the Cane Corso to chew as the more flexible toys. Was larger than I expected.

great for destructive chewers
Size: Large, Style: Crinkle Fry
it is so hard to find a dog toy that won't get destroyed within a week at most, esp with easily bored of toys dogs.
LUCKILY! i will say that both my goldens enjoy the french fry. i have an old picky dog and a young violet chewing dog. the only downside is i wish if i got 2 they wouldnt fight over the one the other has, but that's a review on my dogs more than anything lol
I was looking specifically for a barbox super chewer that is low on cost without losing quality of toy. 5/5 got exactly what i needed! that toy is STRONG and holding up great!!
