Erroll Garner was one of the great American Jazz pianists of the 20th century, yet very few know his name or his music. On Ready Take One, listeners are treated to a rare peek behind the studio doors, with revealing conversation between Garner, his quartet, and longtime manager/producer Martha Glaser included between many of the songs. As pianist/producer Geri Allen writes, "a kind of fifth member of the band, Glaser would support Erroll Garner in the moment of the creative act", as evidenced by the title of the album, a direct reference to Glaser's steady refrain of, "Ready, take one". Ready Take One features six never before released original Garner compositions, including the infectious "Wild Music" and beautiful ballad, "Back To You". Recorded during a prolific five-year period beginning in 1967, all 14 songs on Ready Take One are previously unreleased, having only recently been discovered after nearly 50 years.

Exceeded expectations

We have 2 tower speakers, 4 ceiling speakers, a center speaker, and two subwoofers and, wow, the sound is amazing. The key is the microphone which is used to set the relative volume and delay time for each speaker. Comes with media app which allows access to my audio files on my network storage device and lots of streaming apps. Kudos to Yamaha.

1 yr review of buying a used RX-V6A

GOAT amplifier for a 7.2CH amp for such good price!
Got it for even cheaper because I bought it used. Apparently was a demo unit at an expo.
The amp is notorious for blowing up the HDMI passthrough chip but it did not happen to me. It supports HDMI 2.1 with ease!
Very sharp and sophisticated amp with not a lot of buttons. Most of it can be controlled by a remote or with an app, which is easy to setup. If not, follow the manual.
Decent power too. 100W/channel. Enough to drive my Klipsch bi-amping Dolby Atmos Speakers. Drives them with ease.
This is a 1 yr review. And despite owning a used product, which was on an expo (assuming it was used heavily), the amp is running strong after much usage even a year later. Has all it's functionality intact.
Best 7.2 CH amp ever. Yamaha YPAO really makes the effort of speaker tuning easy too.
