Innovaprene® P 50 X series was specifically developed to provide superior performance in peristaltic-pump applications. Manufactured from virgin, FDA approved raw materials, and homogeneously extruded to precise dimensional tolerances. It provides an excellent alternative to silicone tubing, especially when chemical resistance is a concern. Innovaprene® P 50 X series meet today’s most stringent cytotoxicity and extractability requirements for critical pharmaceutical-process applications. It is also recommended for most biological process fluids. Innovaprene® P 50 X series is also ideal for liquid-coupler connections between process tanks and fluidized bed process equipment. Other applications include sterile solutions, buffer agents, and cell culture processing. Innovaprene® P 50 X series are available in a wide range of sizes to facilitate use in most major peristaltic pumps. The uniqueness of Innovaprene P 50 X is its low hardness (Shore A 50 durometer comparable to silicone tuibing) enabling it to be used for micro pump or low torque peristaltic pump where higher hardness tubing won't work. In the meanwhile, it is specially formulated so that pump life is still comparable to those tuing with higher hardness.
