As Planetary Assault Systems, Luke Slater is an innovator of psychedelic mindfuck techno. Across a lengthy catalog that stretches back into the '90s, the music's bleepy, polyrhythmic loops are as recognizable as they are genre-defining. Plantae is Slater's first release as PAS on Ostgut Ton since Arc Angel (OSTGUT 037CD/023LP, 2016) and covers the spectrum of PAS's different strains while remaining grounded in Slater's uncanny funk and knack for developing oblique melodies and rhythms over longer stretches. Deepness and hypnosis come as much through duration as sound design. For Slater, Plantae is made for Berghain, where he is a long-standing resident. In his own words: "I'm sure it's no surprise that when it comes to putting together a release on Ostgut Ton, PAS takes on it's more mind-altering, otherworldly quality by natural cause, quietly reflecting the dark sweaty nights and days at the club; at the point, the common neural coupling, of us all together. PAS has been part of Berghain and Berghain part of PAS for a long time. All of these tracks needed to pass the Berghain test in my sets first stop."

Good everyday option for the price

Honestly, this toilet paper is better than I expected for a basic brand. It’s soft enough for everyday use and doesn’t fall apart too easily. The rolls last a decent amount of time and it’s convenient having them delivered instead of buying bulky packs at the store.
For the price, I think it’s a practical option if you want something affordable that still feels comfortable and reliable.

I chose this bulk pack expecting a balance between softness and durability, but the overall experience has been underwhelming. Despite being labeled as 2-ply, the paper feels thinner and less cushioned than anticipated, which affects comfort during use. It also tends to tear unevenly, requiring more sheets than expected to get the job done effectively. Over time, I noticed that the rolls don’t last as long as they should based on the sheet count, likely due to the lower density of the material. While it does break down as expected for septic systems, the trade-off in quality is noticeable. Overall, it doesn’t provide the level of comfort or efficiency I was looking for in a daily-use product.

These Amazon brand paper towels are great! They are the multi tear size, which is perfect for different uses. The price is good and they clean windows and glass wonderfully. Softness is so so, but if you don’t have an issue with that, then these are a great buy! I definitely recommend!
