"The Edge of Paradise" does that for the hippie era with historic footage, documentary photography and a sampling of the songs that energized the Woodstock Generation. Set against the gorgeous backdrop of Kaua‘i's North Shore, John Wehrheim's singular photographs capture the texture of daily life and the spirit of that turbulent period. Interwoven with interviews conducted 30 years later, this documentary film gives us a poignant glimpse of the eroding effects of time among a group that, for the most part, is still trying to live the Taylor Camp dream.
