The Ich parasite undergoes a complex life cycle and remains undetectable in its initial stages as it invades gill and skin tissues, leading to significant electrolyte depletion and gill injury, in addition to fostering secondary bacterial and/or fungal infections.

Initial signs of this infection may include your fish swimming erratically within the tank, rubbing against gravel or decorations, exhibiting difficulty in breathing, and lingering near the water’s surface, close to filters or aeration devices. Note that white spots may not always be apparent on the fish.

SUPER ICK CURE typically eradicates the Ich parasite within 24 hours and is safe for use in both freshwater and saltwater tanks. This remedy is available in both liquid and powder formats, and it’s crucial to follow the dosing instructions found on the packaging.

• For every 10 gallons of water, pour one packet directly into the aquarium.
• Administer a second dose after 48 hours.
• After another 48 hours, change 25% of the aquarium water and add fresh activated carbon or replace the filter cartridge.

Instructions for liquid use:

• Remove activated carbon from the filter and maintain aeration.
• Introduce 5 ml. for every 5 gallons of aquarium water.
• Repeat the dosage after 48 hours.
• After another 48 hours, change 25% of the aquarium water and reintroduce fresh activated carbon.
