Care

General Maintenance: If you notice that new leaves are growing pure white, prune the stems back just above the leaf joint-node. The node is where your new variegated leaves will grow from. You want to have the last leaf on the stem with balanced variegation.

Temperature: It loves a temperature between 16 to 29 degrees Celsius.

Light: This plant grows best in bright, indirect light, which provides an ideal condition for healthy growth. The most important thing is that the sun doesn't shine directly on the leaves. An east or west facing room would be wonderful. Leaves that turn yellow is one way to tell it's getting too much sunlight.

Watering: Only water your plant when the top 2 inches or so have dried out. The most common mistake when watering a White Knight is trying to look after it too much, so be careful not to over water. Always just press on the soil to test the moisture level before watering.

Soil: The best type of soil would be on that provides nutrients, and holds moisture, but doesn't become soggy. To create an ideal growing medium, mix peat-based soil with perlite or orchid substrate.

Fertilizer: The best type of fertilizer is a balanced liquid fertilizer with micro and macro nutrients. Feed your plant every 4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Stop fertilizing during fall and winter.
