GR8 Lifestyle — Activ8: Immunity & Gut Health

Backed by science. Powered by nature. Activ8 is GR8 Lifestyle’s precision blend of organic superfoods, prebiotic fiber, clinically studied probiotics, and targeted botanicals that work together to support a thriving gut and resilient immune system. If you want steady energy, comfortable digestion, and dependable wellness in one simple daily ritual, this all-in-one greens + gut formula was built for you.

Modern training, travel, stress, and convenience foods can leave the microbiome under-fueled and your defenses lagging. Activ8 addresses the core with inulin prebiotic fiber to feed beneficial bacteria, LactoSpore® probiotics to help populate and balance the gut, and a curated line-up of organic spirulina, moringa, wheatgrass, elderberry, and ginger for antioxidant support. Apple cider vinegar rounds out the stack to promote healthy digestion and glycemic balance—so you feel lighter, clearer, and ready to perform.

🔑 Key Benefits

  • Microbiome Nourishment: Inulin prebiotic fiber feeds Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus species to support regularity and gut comfort.
  • Clinically Studied Probiotics: LactoSpore® delivers shelf-stable Bacillus coagulans to help maintain a healthy microbial balance and digestive efficiency.
  • Daily Immune Backing: Elderberry, spirulina, and moringa provide polyphenols and carotenoids that support year-round immune resilience.

🧪 Ingredient Science & Breakdown

Prebiotics + Probiotics: The Synergy That Starts It All

Your microbiome needs both food and friendly bacteria. Activ8 pairs inulin—a fermentable prebiotic fiber that selectively feeds beneficial species like Bifidobacterium—with LactoSpore® Bacillus coagulans, a heat-stable, spore-forming probiotic designed to survive the gauntlet of the GI tract. Together they support regularity, reduce occasional bloating, and promote efficient nutrient absorption.

Organic Spirulina – Broad-Spectrum Micronutrients

This blue-green superfood provides complete proteins, chlorophyll, phycocyanins, and carotenoids. Its naturally occurring antioxidants help manage oxidative stress from training and daily life while supporting immune readiness.

Organic Moringa – The Micronutrient Multiplier

Moringa leaves supply vitamins A, C, and E plus minerals like calcium, potassium, magnesium, and zinc—along with polyphenols and flavonoids that support healthy inflammatory signaling and cellular protection.

Organic Wheatgrass – Chlorophyll & Enzyme Support

A concentrated source of chlorophyll, vitamins A/C/E, B-complex nutrients, and natural enzymes (including SOD). Wheatgrass complements daily fruit/veg intake and helps cover common micronutrient gaps.

Organic Elderberry – Immune-Focused Polyphenols

Elderberry delivers anthocyanins and other polyphenols with strong antioxidant capacity. It’s a smart daily addition for athletes and busy professionals who want consistent immune support without stimulants.

Ginger Root – Digestive Comfort & Proteolytic Activity

Ginger contains zingibain, a proteolytic enzyme that assists protein digestion. It also promotes GI motility to keep meals moving smoothly and reduce that heavy, post-meal feeling.

Apple Cider Vinegar – Metabolic Companion

ACV supports healthy post-meal responses and complements diverse eating patterns. In a greens blend, it pairs well with fiber and probiotics to encourage overall digestive harmony.

🧭 How to Use

  1. Mix 1 scoop daily in cold water, a smoothie, or your post-workout shake.
  2. For best results, take first thing in the morning or with your first meal to prime digestion and immune readiness.
  3. Use consistently—microbiome benefits are cumulative and build with daily nourishment.

Pairs well with: a quality omega-3, magnesium, and a protein-forward diet for comprehensive wellness.

❓ FAQ

Q: Can I stack Activ8 with my multivitamin or probiotic?
A: Yes. Activ8 complements most multivitamins and gut-health routines. Because it already includes LactoSpore®, many users find they can simplify their stack.

Q: Will it upset my stomach?
A: The formula was designed for gentle, everyday use. If you’re new to prebiotic fiber, start with a half scoop for several days and build to a full scoop.

Q: When will I feel a difference?
A: Many notice digestive comfort and energy within 1–2 weeks, with deeper microbiome benefits accruing over 4–8 weeks of consistent use.

Q: Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
A: Always consult your healthcare provider before use during pregnancy or lactation.

Essential reading for PowerPoint presenters.
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Cliff shows details how to improve our PowerPoint presentations. He gives concrete and simple steps to transform a message into a targeted presentation. All of us have suffered from presenters who went over their allotted time because they had vital information to give us, yet we still didn't know their main point. Many have seen slide decks burdened with dozens of bullet points. Did the volume of points yield more clarity or did they dull our ability to focus on the message? Probably not. Read Cliff's book. Follow his method and you'll be a more effective presenter.

Useful with some scientific corroboration
Format: Paperback
Worth it as a primer to slide content and how it inter-relates to the delivery when giving a presentation. Very slightly laboured, like most TV documentaries nowadays - you feel they could move a bit faster (...yeah we got it the first time).

Lasting value but degraded presentation
Format: Paperback
I've been a BBP fan since the first edition in 2005. The second edition in 2007 was a significant update and refinement. The latest, 2011 edition, is not worth buying if you already have the second edition -- the information is essentially the same but the 2011 is printed on cheap paper and the contrast between text and background for most of the illustrations is lousy, e.g. black text on a dark grey background, white text on a light grey background. I found it very difficult to read. The online version (O'Reilly Safari Books OnLine) is slightly better because it allows you to magnify the low contrast images which makes them slightly more legible. Thankfully, access to the online version is included with the ink-on-paper book free via a scratch-off, lottery ticket-type insert at the back of the book. If I had to do it again, I'd skip the paper book from Amazon and just purchase electronic access via O'Reilly. This version is more legible and you can print important pages that you might want hard copies of to highlight, mark-up, etc.

Powerful for the presenter
Format: Paperback
My boss's boss recently told me that our organization's presentations are boring data dumps that make her wish she was somewhere other than there listening but not really hearing or caring about this slide and dreading the next. She suggested that since I was going to be doing a lot of presentations in the future I should avoid that method and do better presentations. I immediately sought advice from our best presenter and learned that his method came from his gut feelings about what worked better. He has good instincts but to codify what he explained I decided to buy a book to learn why his approach works. The closest book with an effective explanation I could find is "beyond bullet points". It captured and expanded on the instinct my new mentor explained so that I could now understand how to use the slides to supplement the story and how to interweave the data so the whole presentation is more meaningful and memorable. I recommend this book to anyone looking for more of an answer on how to improve their presentations and eliminate the data dump in bullet points.
