Product Description - EDB24050 - Square D Bolt-On Circuit Breaker

Schneider Electric / Square D's EDB24050 bolt-on molded case circuit breaker is a reliable and easy-to-install device designed for use in Square D NF Panelboards. This circuit breaker is CSA-rated, HID-rated and HACR-rated, and UL Listed as High-Intensity Discharge.

The EDB24050 is a 2-pole bolt-on circuit breaker, rated at 50A at a system voltage of 480Y/277V AC. The circuit breaker has a thermal-magnetic trip unit and a signal indicator to indicate when a trip occurred. The device has a hold current of 270A (the maximum current the breaker can be held at to ensure a trip will occur) and a trip current of 875A (the current value when the breaker is guaranteed to trip).

Square D's EDB24050 circuit breaker is calibrated for 40 degrees C and has aluminum lugs with a terminal lug rating of AWG 12...AWG 6 (aluminum) and AWG 14...AWG 6 (copper).

Do Not Buy This Product. this review is coming at 1 April 2026. This can opener was purchased in October 2025. My initial review was that it worked well and did the job. It was meant to do however, after a few uses, I noticed that the can opener continue to move around and around the can even after the can lid had been cut open. in January 2026 it began to make more and more rotations around the can and the lid was not cut loose. After a few more uses. It just rotated and did nothing else. I sent an email to the company. I contacted Amazon about it. I’ve done everything that I can possibly see to do but I get no positive results. Consequently, I have a six month old can opener. It does not work. worked well for the first 10 or 20 uses; then the cutting edge just wore out (3-4mos.), so now my money was wasted. No explanation no offer, too bad.

If you like the ease of an electric can opener, but don’t have room to store it or don’t want to drag it out when you need to use it, this is for you. It starts turning on its own and when it is done it stops. You lift it up and the lid comes off cleanly. It is rechargeable so need to worry about batteries. It tucks away in a drawer nicely. I bought my mom one too. She has arthritis in her hands so thought this would be perfect for her.
