Balina is a duo that carries the elements from various musical parallel universes like prog rock, math rock, psychedelia, stoner rock, and swing jazz with the flavors of modern heavy metal and Turkish roots. Their music contains a blend of raw and dark tunes with the help of dynamic sound brought by the feat of drum and guitar. The duo was founded in late 2011 in İzmir Turkey as Alican Öyke on guitars and Burçin Esin on drums, who are also the old bandmates from local post hardcore band Soygun. After their first self-released 2013 record, Balina, and the sequent performances which includes an opening up for Mogwai in their 2015 İstanbul gig, they quickly became one of the accepted modern-heavy faces of Turkey's current sub cultural music scene. After following performances mostly held in İstanbul they made a reappearance with their second studio work Kaybetmenin Mitolojisi which was released by Ada Müzik in late 2017. This time, their music tells a conceptual psychedelic urban story, stuck between the sea and the rocks. The songs were recorded in Pür Recording Studio Istanbul and Bahçeşehir University with the presence of Barkın Engin (Replikas). The cover of the album was created by Fırat İtmeç, photographed by Burçin Esin, and designed by Can Dağlı. Lara Di Lara features on "Üzgünüm".

Lasted whole five minutes!

I received this last night and did a cute "unwrapping" this morning for my dog, who was thrilled to get new balls. Unfortunately, the excitement was short-lived. I know the description says this isn't a chew toy or for aggressive chewers, but lasting only five minutes is ridiculous. You can see in my photo that it ripped from a single bite while my pup was just pulling the ball. I thought that was exactly what this toy was designed for!

Dog loves it, but it comes apart pretty quick.

The dog loved chasing it and playing tug-of-war, but it lasted less than 30 days. If the outer rubber portion of cover was thicker, or all canvas material, it would probably last for a few months of rough play. May buy again if I can't find something similar to try.

One Tough Ball!

Our dogs are loving this ball. Our 1 yr old hound is a world-class chewer and he can't make a dent in this ball. The interactive buzzing and bouncing keeps them entertained for long durations. It's a mite noisy but the barking from the 1 yr old is much louder, lol. Even turned off, they like playing with it and chewing on it. Based on the tough construction, we think it will last much longer than traditional chew balls.

My puppy’s favorite
