"Live in Essen 1966"

This brand-new title delivers, for the very first time, a complete soundboard recording of The Beatles’ June 25, 1966 concert in Essen, Germany—part of their only German tour that year, held just before the legendary Japan concerts.

While the June 24 Munich show has long been known via edited TV broadcast footage, no full concert from their 1966 European tour had been available in complete soundboard quality—until now. Previously only available in poor audience recordings, this newly unearthed Essen show is presented in full from the powerful opener “Rock and Roll Music” to the raucous closer “I’m Down”, matching the sonic quality of their Japan concerts.

This set offers two different versions of the Essen show:

  • The Rough Version – sourced directly from the original unedited tape.

  • The Remixed Version – newly restored and sonically enhanced for optimal listening.

As bonus material, the release includes:

  • A new “Enhanced Vocal Version” of six surviving songs from the Munich concert TV broadcast, and

  • A remixed version of the 1965 UK TV performance “Blackpool Night Out.”

As a rare complete live soundboard document from The Beatles’ final tour year, this release marks a milestone in archival discoveries. A must-have for serious collectors and live audio historians alike.

Another excellent M MAELREG product. I already have some pants and jackets from M MAELREG and figured this hoodie would be great as well and I was right. It is lightweight and very comfortable while also being warm. The material is smooth and soft to the touch with a stylish look to it that would work in tthe gym, on the golf course, or out about town. I really love the hood design, not having a single hem down the center lets the hood rest more naturally on your head. It fits as expected, I would prefer it to be a couple inches longer, but that's just my personal taste. Overall, this is an excellent lightweight hoodie.

Great lightweight fabric, good design

This hoodie is a great athletic top. The size small fits my husband well, although it's a little loose in the arms. So if you have a leaner figure, you may find it a bit baggy. But the fabric is fantastic, a high-quality performance fabric that seems breathable and the UV protection is a great bonus. The sleeves are long enough to make good use of the thumb holes in cooler weather, and the color is a nice neutral, gray-green. For reference, the size small has a chest of about 42" (measured just under the sleeves) and a center back length of approx. 25".

Great Quality and Look

21st century materials are here to save us! :) M Maelreg does a great job utilizing those materials to the best of their ability. I've really become a fan of just about anything that they make, and this shirt is no exception. It's made from the very popular 88/12 Poly/spandex blend that has become ubiquitous in the fitness/active industry because of its amazing tensile characteristics- wicking, quick dry, UPF, and extra comfy against the skin. You get all of that here and a no-frills, really beautiful color to go along with a fit that is exactly true to size. I took the more form-fitting version for my 5'10" 175 lb. frame (I've found both L and M work from these guys, M for a more tailored look) and it's exactly right- enough room to move around comfortably and breathe, not so tight that it's hugging my belly. It's super lightweight and really easy to launder (I hang dry mine to prevent pilling and wrinkles), cold/low and a medium/low heat iron to rid those stubborn factory wrinkles and you shouldn't ever need to iron it again. Another great offering from the folks at Maelreg.
