A timeline aids readers in dating pieces and evaluating rarity, and a glossary defines decorative arts terms. Expanded from the original Compendium, a Cornell University Digital Library project, Compendium II has more than 1,000 new listings of provincial, 19th century and special collections silver. Additionally, there is a guide to interpreting Scottish hallmarks and evaluating Scottish silver designed to help the reader avoid common pitfalls.

For the price, this power strip covers all the bases — 6 outlets, 3 USB ports, and a generous 6ft cord that reaches exactly where you need it without having to rearrange furniture. The USB ports are a nice bonus and charge my devices at a decent speed. My main gripe is that some of the AC outlet slots are noticeably stiff and tight, making it genuinely difficult to plug certain things in — I had to use a bit more force than I was comfortable with on a couple of them. It loosens up slightly with use but out of the box it was more of a struggle than it should be. Not a dealbreaker but something worth knowing especially if you're plugging in bulkier adapters.
