Specs on Rods: 

4wt: The Dry fly small creek master. If you want a good presentation this is it. 

5wt: A great all around tool. Whether your'e after trout, bass, or pan fish a 5 wt fly rod is a great choice. 

6wt: A little bit better than the 5 for throwing larger and heavier flies. If youre going to be trout fishing or bass fishing with small streamers, large nymphs, longer casts, and wind, a 6wt is for you.

7wt: Perfect for streamers. If you want to fish bigger flies for bigger fish grab a 7wt. Most of our time spent streamer fishing is with a 7wt outfit like this one. 

Lines:

Floating fly lines are the standard issue and go-to. Nymphing, dry flies, and lots of streamer fishing can all be done with floating fly line. 

Sink tip fly lines are mostly for streamer fishing. We hear a lot of the time that folks are having trouble catching fish on streamers. 90% of the time they just aren't getting their flies deep enough. Thats where the sink tip line comes into play, they help get your flies down to where the fish are at!
