Backstories est un jeu à la mécanique aussi simple que révolutionnaire : un peu à la manière des jeux vidéo Point and Clic, interagissez avec votre environnement pour avancer dans votre palpitante aventure. Certaines cartes (Panorama) représentent l'environnement dans lequel vous évoluez. D'autres cartes (Actions) sont perforées, et représentent les actions que vous pouvez accomplir (Discuter, Fouiller, Objets en votre possession, etc.). Pour interagir, il vous suffit de disposer une carte perforée au dos de la carte Panorama qui vous intéresse, retournez alors la carte, et il vous suffit de lire le résultat de votre choix.

Attention toutefois, dans chaque scénario que vous parcourrez, chacun de vos choix aura de réelles conséquences... Soyez prêts à les assumer !

Dans Les Noces d'Émeraude, vous incarnez l'agent Nyx. Au cours d'une mission de haute voltige, tentez de déjouer les plans du sinistre général Darcosa, en lui subtilisant le disque dur Top Secret qu'il a en sa possession.

Better than thin plastic boards
I used to use one of those thin/bendable plastic cutting boards, thinking it's easier to transfer food into pots/pans from the board, but they tend to get bent in time and they're simply too thin and I hated the feeling of my knife pretty much hitting the kitchen counter. So, I decided to buy this set. I wanted to try a wooden board, but didn't want to spend too much in case I didn't like it, and this set had the perfect price tag and I liked the fact it came with 4 different sizes, so that I can see what size would actually be more useful. I've been using it for 2 months now they're doing great (except one of them started splitting a bit and started showing some strange black dots on the side... possibly mold??? though I can't think of any reason why mold would grow on just one of them. Maybe it's related to the fact that it's the only one that's cracking. And this is the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.) Anyway, apart from that one, the rest are doing well and having 3 boards is plenty. I like the juice groove to avoid spilling liquid on the board, as it happened so many time using the bendable plastic boards. I'm handwashing them with dish soap. They seem to dry pretty fast, and so far no stains etc. on the surface. They're not super duper thick so even the largest one is not too difficult to handle. I sometimes use them to serve some food like appetizers, snacks, pizzas and sandwiches, etc. too!
