When powering the grid heater, 200 amps pass through a small bolt and nut inside the intake and over time is known to deteriorate and eventually arc and break off. This nut drops into the engine, leading to extensive damage to the piston, head, and valves. There are several solutions currently on the market addressing this issue, but they are very costly upgrades, they drastically reduce the amount of heat available to the engine and typically require tuning or don'(TM)t work well in cold climates. This kit upgrades that flawed electrical circuit by eliminating the problematic bolt and nut inside the intake while retaining stock functionality of the heater, is cost-effective, and is easy to install.This Part Fits:
