The first printing of this extensive genealogical record was made available at the Annual Greer Families Reunion of August 10, 1997. Except for reformatting and updating some of the front pages, and adding updates regarding the late life and death of author, Edward A. Greer, the contents of this edition remain unchanged. Pictures are in black-and-white.
The families of: Arrington-Ferguson, Stie, Hall, Hambrick, Greer, Greear, Hudson, Bruce, Compton, Cooper, Cordell, Gibson, Slocum, Atkins, Walker, Jones, Nagy, Rakes, Tang, Wright, Hodges, Nichols, Barbour, Smithers and Wray are featured.
Genealogies are arranged by family progenitor: The name of the lineage parent appears in bold. Each person who has descendants has been assigned an ID number to help readers locate a personÕs ancestors or descendants. A list of college and university graduates, excerpts of a settlement map of Franklin County, Virginia, and an every-name index add to the value of this work.

Great interventions and Trauma Theory
Format: Paperback
This a great book if you work with victims of trauma and want to understand how different types of trauma can present and what interventions can be used (i.e urge surfing, cognitive restructuring, focus breathing, etc.). It also include a section about medications and what to address first in treatment. I think it’s great for new clinicians who may be looking for interventions to add to their clinical toolbox.

New to trauma therapy; loved the book
Format: Paperback
This book was required reading in my Trauma & Intervention class and I loved it so much that I kept it. It is easy to understand if you are new to trauma therapy (which I am). I refer to it fairly often and have absolutely put what I learned to good use. I truly believe this book helped make me a better therapist.
