Sympathy is debut full-length album from Gabi on Software Recording Co. Gabrielle's formal training began at an early age, studying Balinese dance and gamelan in Indonesia while learning both the clarinet and piano. Herbst continued her training at Bard College where she studied voice and composition under the tutelage of Joan Tower, Zeena Parkins and Marina Rosenfeld. Her work has already been showcased at Robert Wilson’s Watermill Center, as well as Roulette, who in 2014 commissioned and premiered her first opera Bodiless. Herbst’s experience writing for chamber orchestra and mixed instrumentation inspired her to develop a repertoire of short-form, vocal-centric compositions under the name Gabi. These were driven by solitary explorations in early 2013 with a dual-track loop pedal. The nine songs composed for Sympathy embrace the vast potential of the human voice as instrument, story and landscape. Sympathy was recorded in the studio where she was joined by her band Matthew O’Koren (percussion), Rick Quantz (viola), Josh Henderson (violin), and Aaron Roche (electric guitar / trombone). With production and by Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never) and Paul Corley (Oneohtrix Point Never, Tim Hecker, Ben Frost), these open-ended sessions yielded a suite of compositions that capture that Gabrielle's metamorphosis into Gabi via an intimate exploration along the the edges of song-form.

Perfect for my daughter's Chromebook!

Comes with adhesive and screws. I chose to use the adhesive and it works great. My daughter got a Chromebook for school and its a great place to put it so we charge it when she gets in from school and remember to grab it before she leaves! Very easy installation, so far pretty sturdy, great price, and it fits perfect because you can adjust to whatever size you need.

Great fit and finish, quality hardware, well worth it!

Great product. It seem like it would probably fit most modern size laptops. He adhesive mounting tape seems very strong, but I used the screws for extra strength. Comes with it all…hardware and screwdriver. The plastic is quality and built strong. I had to trim on of the slots in the side to accommodate my computers plug, but that’s not the fault of this product. I would recommend this absolutely.

DO NOT USE THE PROVIDED SCREWS
Color: Black
The screws they include are so cheap and they start to strip halfway in (even with pilot holes). The holders themselves are fine but now now the screws can go in or get out so it's either destroy the product or live with it. I used a quality screw on the one side and it worked just fine. Poor quality and not very thoughtful. If you buy, get your own screws.
