It's useless to deny that I, that all of us at Velut Luna, fell in love with this f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c Neapolitan girl.
"Flowers" is the title of her first album for Velut Luna: and the title is no coincidence, given that with this first work, Fabiana wants to pay a passionate tribute to her reference artists, but even more so to an era and to the sounds and music that characterized it.
We are obviously talking about the years from 1968 to 1975, when the concepts of peace, love, and imagination in power found their most intense realization. And the singers of that distant era were Joni Mitchell, the Beatles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, James Taylor: the legendary West Coast Sound.
And so, this album could not be without songs like Woodstock, Fire and Rain, Help me, All I want, Something, Blackbird, The dock of the bay, ... but be careful, because the real shining jewels of the album are Fabiana's three original songs: Flowers, Try to imagine, Visnu in Bombay...
Recorded strictly live-in-studio in just 3 days, mixed and mastered in another two, this latest creation from Velut Luna also stands out for that now typical natural, dynamic, and transparent sound that has characterized all the productions of the independent label from Padua for years.
