A 0.25" thick rim creates perching spots, and its 1.5" depth allows small birds to safely bathe. A heating element rests beneath this basin, for use during freezing temperatures. This thermostatically controlled heater operates only when the water in the bath nears freezing, and uses a mere 50 Watts for power. The included, 29" tall, metal stand supports the bath easily, and three included ground anchors keep the piece stable in your garden. For even more display options, use the included joiner and top section of the stand to place this item on a wooden deck rail. The bottom heating element may be removed for use as a non heated bath during the summer for added versatility.
