The HbPro AG (Anatomical Grip) is Made in Japan, in small batches by 2nd Generation Master, Naoto Takahashi (Formerly of Hikari) Takahashi San is a widely acknowledged as one of Japans Top 5 Shear Masters for over 30 years.

The AG is by far the highest quality scissor we have ever produced, from the master craftsmanship to the  VGold10 steel, which is highly durable and easily sharpened.

But most importantly as hairdressers we know that protecting our hands and tendons is of the utmost concern. That's why the  AG's handle being a full anatomical grip is so important.

The AG handle allows for complete agility, control and comfort. It allows the tool to fit naturally in your hand when cutting horizontal. vertical or diagonal sections. The natural contour of the handles reduces wrist stress and fatigue by allowing for a complete radial motion when cutting.

Another innovation used in the AG is the Double Split Pivot Screw which allows the screw to flex during operation. At the same time it negates the need for “ nylon ride inserts’ by facilitating proper ride contact in use.

Easy Read with good case studies!!
    Format: Paperback
I had to purchase this for my Advanced Pathophysiology class in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. It is very easy to understand and have pretty good case studies. I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!

    Helpful
    Format: Paperback
This is a nice compliment to other classroom instruction materials. I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course in a nurse practitioner program. This book is very helpful for students to put together the concepts of patho with the clinical setting. Will use these for in-class group assignments. Case-studies are thorough and offer a variety of different disease processes to choose from. It certainly does not offer a case study for every possible disease or clinical scenario, but does cover most major areas and enough variety in my opinion. Should be helpful in reinforcing the clinical significance of some difficult to understand concepts. I would recommend this text to course instructors.

    Good book!
    Format: Paperback
Very helpful book for pathophysiology. The CD not only gives you answers to the case studies but gives you clear details of the clinical Pathophysiology of a particular disease. Definitely recommend it to students going for their Master's degree!

No Answers Provided to Case Studies
    Format: Paperback
The cases are helpful; however, realize that there are NO answers whatsoever to the questions presented in the cases--not a huge problem I suppose, b/c you can google everything, but certainly an annoyance. (esp. when there are multiple possible answers. The author states in the foreword that some of the cases are real; in which case, why not provide the justification presented in the patient's chart as to why that patient takes a particular drug, esp. considering that you may take a drug for its side effects rather than its therapeutic effect. . .anyhow. . ) I think if the author provided at least SOME insight/guidance to the cases that it would be much more helpful, but until then, I'm skeptical as to why others gave this book 5 stars.
