The young Romanian violinist Ioana Cristina Goicea and her piano partner Andrei Banciu draw on the full range of their talents: on their debut album, they bring late Romantic music by Richard Strauss, Erich Wolfgang Korngold and the world premiere recording by Stan Golestan to life in full color. The two winners of the competition are perfectly attuned to each other. A technically flawless rendition serves as the basis of their interpretation and is exalted by the extraordinary artistic personality of the two Romanian musicians. The romantic exuberance creates goosebumps! Ioana Cristina Goicea is one of the outstanding violinists of her generation. She won First Prize at the 2017 Michael Hill International Violin Competition in New Zealand, with critics praising her passionate performance and describing her as "a new star in the musical firmament." In 2018 she won First Prize at the German Music Competition in Bonn and was a laureate of the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis. In 2019 she became a prize winner of the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. Born in 1985 in Timisoara (Romania), Andrei Banciu began studying the piano in his home town with Maria Bodo, later continuing in Berlin at the UdK (University of the Arts) under Prof. Klaus Hellwig and at the "Hanns Eisler" School of Music under Prof. Fabio Bidini.

Little smaller in person than I expected but the quality is very nice and the tray looks great on the coffee table. It holds eyeglasses, TV remote and other items I didn't want possibly scratching the table. It looks in person just like the photos.

Nice to have

Good:
It's a good sized leather tray for the price. I'm able to keep my keys, wallet, tv remote, and watch flat within the box. There's not much else to say, it's a leather tray, it just... works. It gives me piece of mind knowing that I'll always find my accessories and belongings nicely tucked into this tray.
Bad:
I'm a fair reviewer, if a product wows me I'll say it wows me. This does not wow me in the craftsmanship department. The product I received contains the leather tray and a leather "floor". The leather floor is a separate piece that sits at the bottom of the tray which completes the complete leather look and provides some cushion to the things inside. This leather floor did not fit perfectly within the confines of the tray. One edge sits slightly tilted upward. To be completely fair, this is a very easy fix. I assumed that the stitching was simply applied too tightly and causes the floor to 'crunch'. I simply reduced the tightness of the stitching and it's perfect now. However, I cannot give it the full 5 star rating I wanted because not everyone is keen on solving issues like this. When people order things, I assume that most people would like a product that looks and feels great straight from the box.
Verdict:
Would still recommend. Despite this being a somewhat niche product it really helps with quality of life. I no longer have to go looking for my keys, wallet, or tv remote between my couch cushions. I know exactly where I'll find them every time and this saves an exponential amount of time in the mornings. As a bonus, the color is really nice and dark chocolate brown which goes with most things and leather is just a nice luxury to have.
