Slotted rotors by ARK are a great alternative to drilled rotors. They serve the same purpose of breaking down hot brake gas but provide better resistance to cracking. The slotted pattern allows for increased pad bite and improved air circulation. The slots help to sweep away gas and dust. If you drive hard, race or use your vehicle off-road or for towing purposes, slotted rotors are a perfect choice for you.
Whereas, most companies use G3000 Iron Grade or less. ARK disc brake rotors are engineered with Diamond Edge Slot design to increase initial brake pad bite, help remove brake debris, and also functions as a rotor wear indicator. Our Drilled holes are chamfered to add additional strength and to reduce heat maximizing better air circulation for better cooling. Each rotor includes our black e-coating finish that is electro-statically applied to help withstand 400 hours of salt spray testing without rusting and/or corroding.
