When Eric Clapton used the Marshall Model 1962 on the John Mayall & The Blues Breakers self-titled album in 1966, the performance in combination with this amp was such a distinctive contribution to music history that the amp came to be known as the “Bluesbreaker”. The Bluesbreaker’s amp section is warm and crunchy, and the use of alnico speakers in an open back cabinet adds an unusually chimey and three-dimensional sound for a Marshall, which has contributed to its status as a genuine workhorse far outside of the blues genre too.

The Marshall Bluesbreaker 1962 plug-in is a super accurate software version of the real thing, produced in partnership with Marshall from a Series 1 Bluesbreaker Model 1962 combo amplifier kept in pristine shape in the Marshall museum since 1965. The plug-in was component modeled down to the smallest details, resulting in flawless sound quality that will make you feel wonderful tonight and every night.

A Rare and Expensive Amp Precisely Emulated
The Bluesbreaker 1962 plug-in is a precise emulation of the reference unit from the Marshall museum, with the true sound of blues and rock & roll component modeled to the smallest details.

Set up the mics exactly the way you need them to get exactly the great sounds you need from this legendary amplifier.

A Groundbreaking Collectible With Marshall Heritage
Guitarist lore claims that the idea for the Bluesbreaker actually came from Eric Clapton himself, because he wanted an amplifier that could fit in the trunk of his car. Great story, although the truth is that Jim Marshall simply wanted an amp that could compete with the very popular Vox AC30. The Bluesbreaker’s amplifier section is identical to the standalone JTM45 Tremolo amplifier head, which was Jim Marshall’s first amplifier model ever.

The Model 1962 was the first combo amplifier by Marshall, with an open back combo cabinet that features two of the 12” T650 speakers by Celestion. The fact that the Bluesbreaker had an open back cabinet with alnico speakers set it very much apart from most other Marshall cabinets, which are usually closed designs equipped with ceramic speakers. The Marshall Bluesbreaker 1962 has since become one of the most collectible and valuable vintage guitar amplifiers of all time. Now you can have this legendary Marshall sound as a native plug-in and as a module in pro guitar and bass platform Amp Room.

Engineered by a Legend
Producer and engineer Tony Platt, who recorded some of the best Marshall tones ever committed to tape on some of the most rocking albums of all time – AC/DC’s Highway to Hell and Back in Black – masterfully recorded the original combo 2X12”speaker cabinet, Celestion T650, at the legendary Strongroom recording facility in London.

Platt recorded the cabinet with 3 types of microphone combination settings, each with 4 sets of microphones, all carefully selected to give a wide variety of tones and positioned to sound fantastic when used in combination with each other. Nothing comes close to the mix-ready magic of these sounds. We built a world-class engineer right into the plug-in.

Precision Fine-Tuning of Your Microphones
Click the wood panel on the right with the green Channel Strip sticker, and a channel strip appears with options to help you blend and tweak your sounds until they’re mix-ready. The Main Out Volume sets the overall output level of the plug-in without affecting the sound. Choose between Valve, FET, or Dynamic mics in the near field with Cabinet Microphone Select.

Use In to activate or deactivate each microphone channel, use Pan to place the microphone channel where you want it in the stereo panorama, and use channel fader to adjust the volume a microphone channel. With all of these options, you can mix your ideal sound right there in the plug-in.

Perfect for Amp Room
Marshall Bluesbreaker 1962 comes with modules that are fully integrated into the Amp Room ecosystem and sound exactly the same as the native version of the plug-in. If you already own Amp Room, you definitely need this amp.

Amp Room is the pro audio guitar and bass platform, designed with sound quality as top priority. It’s just like having a real amplifier with a miked up speaker cabinet in a high-end studio – with the added convenience of more options to patch in any kind of studio tool you need anywhere in the chain.

below average value but decent quality on this 95.4% Polyester, 4.6% Spandex dress shirt
Special Size: Black Buttons, Size: Large, Color: Sky Blue, Special Size: Black Buttons, Size: Large, Color: Sky Blue
At $20 when I picked this up, it was overpriced for what it was. I'm held accountable to the value assigned to me at the time I select to review it, so I review the value based on what was assigned not on what it later becomes if they discount it. As I write this I can see it is in a value range it should have been for me, but I'm still reviewing it at the $20. That's overpriced on a 95.4% Polyester, 4.6% Spandex shirt (i.e., non-cotton) and so the value here is a 1/5 or 2/5, say 1.5/5 for it. In terms of quality, this is a poly dress shirt. Still, I'd call this a 4/5 for what it is. The standard is cotton, and in my experience, as someone in ties and collared shirts all day, I would note that I do prefer a 95 cotton/5 spandex blend, with the challenge that its not the most wrinkle free material. This blend, 95 poly/5 spandex, is a very wrinkle free and smooth feeling material. Poly has better durability than cotton despite feeling thinner, because it won't fray as much. That said, even though it's lightweight, poly will make you hotter because it doesn't breathe like cotton. It feels light, so you think it is going to be cooler, but in practice actually isn't really if it's a hot day. It can make you sweat more. That said, many people like poly blends for the ease of maintenance. I've given up dry cleaning, just too much, and I do like to avoid an iron, so I tested this out because of it. For me this fit well. I ordered a large (typically I prefer to wear a 16.5/34/35, and I'm 5'11, 185) and this fit well. It's not a slim fit (tapered bottom) for those who might complain about extra material. But it fit well. I put it through both the wash and dryer. It did not shrink (poly usually doesn't) to be out of size, but was fine, and of course came out without wrinkles. The collars have no stays, these poly shirts hardly ever do, but I have found they mostly remain flat, since the material doesn't tend to wrinkle, and thus my points stay in place just fine. At a 1.5 on value and a 4 on quality, this is a 2.75/5 average for me. Again, value plays a big part for me. So, full disclosure a better value would have raised my rating on this. But hopefully, based on what I covered above, you have enough to figure out if this shirt is worth it to you or not.

Nice dress shirt
Special Size: Black Buttons, Size: Large, Color: Grey
This shirt is a super soft and an awesome style, which I really love. The material is a soft cotton and that doesn’t irritate my skin. It is breathable, but also keeps you relatively warm. It’s very nice looking on and would be okay for everyday wear. It has been used many times going out with jeans or shorts out. I wash and dry it regularly in a machine and still looks just as new as the out of box condition. There is no pilling, fabric change, or shrinking. The style is flattering, cut well, and runs true to size. Other shirts owned feel similar to this one, which meets expectations and is a nice shirt for the price. I do wish it had a pocket though. Ultimately would purchase again.

Sharp-looking business shirt at a great price
Special Size: Black Buttons, Size: X-Large, Color: Rhine Blue
This long sleeve dark blue shirt is a great choice for a business casual look. The "Rhine Blue" color really stands out — it’s very bold without being over the top, and it gives the shirt a sharp, polished appearance. The stitching is very well done, with clean lines and no loose threads, which adds to the overall quality. It fits nicely and maintains a crisp look throughout the day. The material is mostly polyester with some spandex, so it feels smooth, lightweight, and is actually breathable. It stays comfortable during long wear and doesn’t feel heavy or restrictive. Overall, it’s a sharp, well-made shirt that delivers both style and comfort at a great level. It was a good deal at the original price of about $20, but at the new price of about $15, it's an excellent deal. I may get another in a different color.

Very comfortable and looks great!
Size: X-Large, Color: Navy Blue, Size: X-Large, Color: Navy Blue
This shirt is surprisingly really nice for the price. Really nice even regardless of the price. It fits and looks great on my hubby. We liked it so much that I bought him another one in a different color. Will probably even buy more. The large ran a little small, so we got him an extra large and it was great.
