This is a vintage 1970s Bucherer Archimedes watch, model number 2824.505, which is a sought-after collector's item. The Archimedes line is named after the famous Greek mathematician and inventor Archimedes and is known for its timeless and classic designs. Bucherer Archimedes watches are highly prized for their quality and craftsmanship and are often considered collector's items. They are produced in limited quantities, which can make them difficult to find and makes them highly sought after by collectors.
This is a self-winding watch powered by a Swiss Bucherer movement, caliber ETA 2824-2, 25 jewels, regulated, date indicator (set by changing the 22-24 hour mode), hakka movement and seconds hand.
The dial is white/silver, with some patina, with silver hour markers, luminous dots, black minute track and silver tone hands. The small date window is located at the 3 o'clock position. The dial has the Bucherer, Automatic and Swiss Made inscription. It has a round case with a diameter of 34.8 mm and a stepped design of the lugs, all in stainless steel and case back. The Bucherer stainless steel bracelet is original.
