NITROGEN GAS FILLING
The nitrogen gas filling inside the binoculars reliably ensures that the optics remain fogging-free even in damp and cold weather. At the same time, the gas filling of the Ocean binoculars allows a temporary submersion for about 30 minutes to a water depth of to 1m.
PORRO PRISMS AND MULTI-COATED LENSES
The built-in Porro prisms made of high-quality BaK-4 glass offer three-dimensional, bright, and true-colour images of high optical quality. The design and the special arrangement of the Porro prisms enable eye-friendly and fatigue-free observations.
The multi-coated lenses (MC Multi Coating) of the Ocean binoculars reduce unwanted reflections and increase the light transmission.
FLOATING STRAP
If you want to use the Ocean binoculars on a ship or on a boat, we recommend exchanging the regular neck strap with the supplied floating strap. The extra thick padding of the floating strap prevents the binoculars from going under if accidentally fall into the water. The signal yellow colour of the floating pads is easily recognizable on the water surface and helps you to locate and retrieve the binoculars quickly.
MAGNIFICATIONS
The Ocean 7x50 binoculars are perfectly suited for use on a ship, on a cruise or on a sailing boat, but also for a fishing trip. The 7x magnification can be hold stable even when the ship is moving. With a large field of view of 122m at 1000m, refocusing is almost unnecessary.
The Ocean 10x50 binoculars show their strengths especially when observing nature and wildlife, as well as objects at a great distance. Thanks to the strong 10x magnification, a detailed image of these objects is guaranteed.
The large centre focus wheel allows smooth and silent focussing of both eyepieces.
DIOPTRE COMPENSATION & TWIST-UP EYECUPS
With the dioptre adjustment you may set the binoculars to your eyesight no matter if you wear glasses or not. The twist-up eyecups for eyeglass wearers ensure the same distance to the binoculars without re-focussing.
