How to install HPE E810-CQDA2 100Gigabit Ethernet Card

To install the HPE E810-CQDA2 in a compatible HP server, follow these steps to ensure proper seating, connection, and configuration. Always refer to your server’s maintenance manual for model-specific guidance and safety precautions. Begin with the system powered down and unplugged to prevent static damage and electrical shock. Ground yourself and wear an anti-static strap if available.

  • Open the server chassis and locate an available PCIe slot with sufficient clearance for a full-height or low-profile card, depending on your chassis configuration.
  • Remove the slot cover and inspect the PCIe slot to ensure it is clean and free of debris that could impede seating.
  • Align the E810-CQDA2 with the PCIe x16 slot, ensuring the connector is properly oriented. Press firmly until the card is fully seated in the slot and the retention screw can be fastened.
  • Secure the card with the chassis screw to prevent movement during operation and to maintain reliable electrical contact.
  • Route and connect the appropriate 100GbE transceiver or fiber/copper media (QSFP28) to the card, according to your network design and data center fiber infrastructure.
  • Power on the server and boot into the operating system. Install the latest HPE-provided drivers or the vendor’s recommended NIC drivers to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
  • Configure network settings within the OS or hypervisor: establish VLANs, NIC teaming or bonding, and any required virtualization offloads or security features as appropriate for your environment.
  • Verify connectivity with a baseline performance test, and monitor the NIC via your chosen management tools to confirm stability and peak performance.

High Transfer, Bright Colors & No Ghosting
Size: 8.5"*14", Color: 150 sheets, Size: 8.5"*14", Color: 150 sheets
This HTVRONT sublimation paper 8.5x14 inch has been excellent for my sublimation projects. The 120gsm weight feels sturdy and feeds smoothly through my inkjet printer without jams or curling. It holds ink well, which helps produce clean, sharp prints before pressing. The transfer results are impressive. Colors come out vibrant and true, with strong detail and no dull or faded areas. I’ve had very little ghosting, and designs transfer evenly onto shirts, mugs, and other sublimation blanks. The claimed high transfer rate really shows in the final results. I also like the larger 8.5x14 size, which gives extra space for bigger designs or multiple smaller prints on one sheet. The paper releases well during pressing, leaving minimal residue and clean edges. Pros: ✔ Bright, vibrant color transfer ✔ Minimal ghosting or smudging ✔ Smooth printer feeding ✔ Great for shirts, mugs, and hard blanks ✔ Good value for the sheet count Cons: – Must be used with sublimation ink – Requires correct heat press settings for best results Overall, this HTVRONT sublimation paper is a reliable choice for anyone doing sublimation printing who wants strong color transfer, crisp detail, and consistent results. Great for both beginners and small business use.

Thin but with extra step works great
Size: 8.5"*11", Color: 150 sheets
It sublimated great but it’s thinner than what I normally use so it take an extra step to not have over lapping but it’s cheaper and you get more so definitely worth the price

Works great as advertised
Style: Printer & Inks, Style: Printer & Inks
Working great so far! Enjoying starting doing sublimation work. A rookie a few weeks in and it's going well. Print quality is decent. Not having paper jam issues. Was easy to setup. I had to goto Epson and download a current print driver to get all the print properties and printer settings I needed. Was easy. After I installed the 2nd driver and saw it worked better, then I uninstalled the 1st epson driver. Helped allow for 8.5 x 14 page size and high quality. Just a few options needed that were not showing on the original print driver. Took me a few days to figure out what was going on. It helped with the quality of the prints after I got the better driver. So the end product is better also.
