麥克．巴奈特

　　美國童書作家，1982年出生於加州，畢業於波莫纳學院。巴奈特創作過多本繪本，還有一系列的兒童冒險小說，曾獲愛倫坡文學獎最佳童書。和雍．卡拉森合作多本圖畫書，更曾榮獲美國凱迪克銀牌獎、懷特朗讀繪本獎等多項大獎。

雍．卡拉森

　　出生於加拿大，現定居美國加州洛杉磯市的雍．卡拉森，曾為動畫長片、音樂錄影帶和雜誌書刊等繪圖，為一位知名的插畫家和設計師，也是童書界備受矚目的閃亮之星。

　　雍．卡拉森曾說自己最喜歡的工作就是講故事。他認為說好故事的最高境界，就是讓觀眾自然而然的被圖像帶著走，就像有股神祕的力量讓讀者一開始就「入戲」，而不需要另外有人告訴他們該往哪裡走。這是他一直在工作上努力的目標。

　　卡拉森更是自凱迪克獎創獎以來，1947年之後，唯一同時拿下金、銀牌雙料殊榮的作家。
