The NetXpert XG2 is a powerful, field-ready network testing device designed to certify copper and fiber cabling up to 10G. By leveraging advanced Bit Error Rate Testing (BERT) and real data packet transmission, it delivers real-world validation of network performance. This means you’re not just testing theoretical limits—you're pushing live traffic through the cable and measuring the results to prove that your infrastructure will perform under real conditions. Whether you’re validating a brand-new installation, upgrading an existing backbone, or evaluating legacy runs, the NetXpert XG2 provides precise, actionable insights that help you deliver quality, reliability, and peace of mind to your customers.

  • 10G-capable BER testing on copper and fiber networks, using real data packets to simulate live network traffic.
  • Real-world testing methodology that reveals how cabling behaves under typical workloads, not just ideal bench conditions.
  • Identifies aging or degraded cable runs by uncovering performance drops, latency in high-demand scenarios, and potential fault points early.
  • Facilitates rapid network certification with clear pass/fail criteria and actionable results to validate installations or upgrades.
  • Designed for field technicians with a streamlined workflow, rugged form factor, and straightforward report generation to accelerate project timelines.

Technical Details of Platinum Tools NetXpert Network Testing Device

  • Testing capability: Certifies copper and fiber networks up to 10G speeds using Bit Error Rate Testing (BERT).
  • Traffic method: Pushes real data packets over the cable to measure actual network performance and error rates.
  • Real-world validation: Focused on practical performance under realistic load conditions to prove network readiness.
  • Diagnostics: Captures BER measurements and related metrics to help pinpoint where cable or connector issues lie.
  • Certification and documentation: Generates clear results to support cabling certification and project records.
  • Design and usability: Field-friendly, portable device crafted to streamline testing workflows and minimize setup time.

How to install Platinum Tools NetXpert Network Testing Device

  • Power on the NetXpert XG2 and connect test ports to the copper or fiber under test using the appropriate adapters for your cabling type.
  • Navigate to the test setup screen and configure parameters such as target speed (up to 10G), BER thresholds, and test duration to align with your project requirements.
  • Load the test plan for the specific cable run, selecting real-data traffic profiles that best reflect how the network will be used in production.
  • Initiate the BER test, ensuring that both ends of the link are properly terminated or connected as required by your test scenario. Monitor live results as the test runs.
  • Review results on the device, interpret BER readings, and determine pass/fail status. Save the test results to report back to stakeholders or export documentation where applicable.

Has fit perfectly into my morning espresso
Color: Black&Silver
This seems to me to be an excellent small kitchen scale. I am new to the complexities of espresso making and have begun using this scale every morning to measure my dose and output. It is working just fine. Easy to operate, keep clean and store. I did not give it 5 stars because I have limited comparisons but I don’t expect and will not bother looking for anything better.

Perfectly fits what I needed for my espresso habit!
Color: Black&Silver
This Maestri House mini coffee scale is a great little tool for espresso and pour-over. The size is compact enough to fit under a portafilter or cup, and the 0.1g accuracy makes dialing in coffee much easier. I like the built-in timer, rechargeable USB-C battery, and clean black-and-silver look. It feels precise, practical, and easy to keep near the espresso machine. Great value for anyone who wants more consistent coffee.

Maestro House Mini Coffee Scale
I have begun to drink tea, pu’erh tea to be specific. I have several varieties and I have had a problem with getting consistent results. The varieties can be very different in size depending on when the leaves are harvested (leaves harvested in spring are much smaller). So the easiest way to get consistent results is by weight. This scale is very easy to use with a ceramic tea scoop, set the tea scoop on the scale, zero it out and add tea leaves. This has made my results much better, without the wild swings in strength I had been getting before trying to eyeball even measures. This scale gives me accurate measurements to one tenth of a gram.

Mostly great, except one little annoyance
Color: Black&Silver, Color: Black&Silver
Pros- lightweight, small, very accurate, easy to clean, timer included. Cons- I use this to brew espresso on my Breville Touch and to get an accurate reading, you have to place something flat (structured) under the scale. Otherwise the reading just jumps all over the place. I know lot of espresso machines have the same base, so this might be an issue for some! This is my reason for 4/5 stars. It’s an easy fix, it’s just kind of annoying. Value for the price seems to be on point. It’s easy to clean. It has a timer as well as scale (nice for espresso). Buttons work the first time you push them. That’s it that’s all

Smooth taste and blends nicely
Size: 1.4 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This is probably one of the smoothest matchas I've ever bought. The tea blends out nicely without any clumps - no sifting required! I have bought from expensive brands that still have clumps despite sifting and whisking, so I was extremely pleased to see that this one doesn't have any of those problems. The price is also on point! Taste: 4.5/5 I would say on par if not better than most cafes where you're paying $7-8 a cup. It's not bitter at all and has a mild grassy note. It's tasty on its own or as a latte. Blendability: 5/5 Doesn't need sifting at all. A bamboo whisk is enough. Color: 4.5/5 A nice high quality green color. I'd say it's a tier down premium green, but still pretty vibrant and the quality can't be beat for this price point. Overall thoughts: It's the perfect budget brand if you're looking for a high quality matcha experience. It's great for everyday use and a good starting point for beginners.
