Equip your labeling operation with a robust, versatile printhead that delivers exceptional clarity and reliability across direct thermal and thermal transfer modes. The Datamax-O'Neil PHD20-2195-01 Direct Thermal, Thermal Transfer Printhead in the Black Pack is engineered for demanding environments where sharp text, dense barcodes, and long-lasting performance matter most. This replacement printhead makes field maintenance easy with a one-handed cartridge-style swap, reducing downtime and keeping your shipping and inventory workflows flowing smoothly. Whether you’re printing UPCs for retail shelves, asset tags for equipment, or logistical labels for warehouses, this Black Pack printhead stands up to daily use while maintaining consistent print quality from first label to last. Designed to integrate with a wide range of Datamax-O'Neil printers, it supports both direct thermal printing for fast, economical labeling and thermal transfer printing for longer-lasting labels on tougher media. The result is a reliable, cost-effective solution that helps you meet labeling compliance and speed without sacrificing legibility or barcode readability.

  • Versatile printing technology for flexible labeling needs — The PHD20-2195-01 supports both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing, giving you the flexibility to choose the most cost-effective option for short-term labels or longer-lasting labels on durable media. This adaptability makes it ideal for warehouses, manufacturing lines, and distribution centers where media and label requirements can shift over time. With this printhead, you can switch between printing scenarios without changing hardware, ensuring you’re always equipped to handle changing barcode standards, varying label substrates, and different environmental conditions. The result is improved production efficiency, reduced waste, and the ability to respond quickly to evolving labeling requirements across multiple lines of business.

  • Easy, one-handed print cartridge replacement — Designed for fast, tool-free maintenance, this Black Pack printhead allows convenient one-handed cartridge changes, minimizing downtime during busy shifts. The streamlined replacement process reduces the need for specialized service calls and lowers labor costs, enabling operators to quickly swap a worn printhead and resume printing with minimal interruption. By simplifying maintenance, it also helps standardize changeover procedures across teams, ensuring consistent print quality and fewer human errors. This user-friendly design is especially valuable in high-volume environments where every minute counts and equipment uptime translates directly into improved throughput and on-time order fulfillment.

  • Sharp, dense images and accurate barcodes for reliable scanning — The PHD20-2195-01 is engineered to deliver dense, high-contrast text and graphics, with legible barcodes that scanners readily recognize even at high speeds. This translates to fewer misreads, reduced returns, and smoother downstream processes in receiving, inventory, and shipping. Whether you’re printing Code 128, Code 39, UPC, or other common symbologies, you’ll benefit from consistent print fidelity that stands up to real-world handling, abrasion, and label exposure. In retail and logistics settings, dependable barcode readability is critical for inventory control, point-of-sale accuracy, and efficient cross-docking, making this printhead a practical upgrade for operations seeking to minimize labeling errors and maximize throughput.

  • Cost-effective durability for long-term savings — Investing in the Black Pack printhead translates to lower total cost of ownership through extended life and fewer replacement cycles. The high-quality materials and precision engineering reduce wear and tear on both the printhead and print mechanism, supporting longer maintenance intervals and less downtime. This efficiency helps you allocate resources more effectively, improve labor productivity, and maintain consistent label quality across shifts. In addition, by preserving printhead integrity and reducing the need for frequent recalibration, you gain greater stability in your labeling workflow, which is especially valuable when meeting strict regulatory or customer-required labeling standards.

  • Black Pack design for reliability and uniform performance — The distinctive Black Pack configuration emphasizes durability and uniform heat distribution, helping to ensure consistent printing across the printhead array. This design fosters stable image density and reduces the risk of edge wear or ghosting on longer print runs. It also simplifies maintenance checks, as technicians can quickly assess wear patterns and replace cartridges before quality dips occur. For businesses running high-volume labels with tight tolerance requirements, the Black Pack construction provides the predictable, repeatable results needed to maintain brand integrity and minimize mislabeled batches across multiple production lines.

A perfect start
Format: Kindle
This is exactly the kind of graphic novel I was looking for. Full of sweetness with a little bit of bite. Reminds me of the great comic series bone. Great story, great art, I can’t wait to get into the next chapter.

Draws You in to the Series
Format: Paperback
The Stonekeeper is the first volume in Kazu Kibuishi's graphic novel series. Although aimed at middle school, it is good for upper elementary school children, and is enjoyable for adults as well. 2 years after the death of Emily and Navin's father in a tragic car crash, Karen moves her children to the family's old house in a dense forest. Built by Karen's grandfather Silas who then disappeared, it has been abandoned for years. During the first night, they hear a strange noise, and Karen is captured by an Arachnopod, a creature from a parallel world, Alledia. Emily and Navin follow their mother into the parallel world where they find their ailing great-grandfather Silas. He tells Emily about the power of the amulet she found in his house. It is the key to ruling Alledia. Silas expires, but not before instructing his robot and animal minions to aid Emily and Navin. This first volume, besides setting the story arc, narrates the rescue of Karen. Unfortunately, she is poisoned setting up the next volume for finding the antidote. Besides an engaging story with compelling characters, Kibuishi is a fantastic illustrator. As with many exemplar graphic novels the spare text is amplified and much of the story told through his illustrations. The creatures of Alledia are strange enough to pique our imagination, but not so much that they are totally alien in form. After reading Stonekeeper, I am eager to see what happens next with Emily and Navin, and their company.

wow
Format: Paperback
I remember when I read in reviews that kids had gotten sucked into this story and had become fans of this series so quickly.... Well, my daughter resisted till page 13 or 14... but since then she's in it... She's very picky when it is about books and even that she's 9, she started to read in English only a few months ago ( we lived abroad, she reads other language) so she still prefers books that is easy to read. Anyway, get ready, this series is addicted... gooooood :) that is what we need :) I mean, you can complain that this is a comic book but still, at least the child has the book in his/her hand and not a tablet... and at least he/she reads... I'm really happy that I got this book for her.

Wonderful Story, But Small Print
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
My son really likes this book. He usually doesn’t enjoy reading much, but this one caught his interest right away. The illustrations are great, and the story is engaging too. He finished the book in just two days! I already bought the second one and am thinking about getting the whole series. The only thing I didn’t like was the size of the letters. It wasn’t very easy for my 9-year-old to read on his own, and sometimes I had to help him.
