Here is a list of the parts included in this rebuild kit:

  • 2 TDO4 journal bearings
  • 1 upgraded TDO4 dual oil port thrust bearing with 1.4mm diameter oil holes
  • 1 TDO4 front piston ring
  • 1 TDO4 rear piston ring with staggered gap
  • 1 TDO4 super back seal plate
  • 1 c-clip to retain seal plate
  • 2 spiral retainers (retains journal bearings in place)
  • 1 TDO4 deflector
  • 1 seal plate oring
  • 1 TDO4 compressor housing oring
  • upgraded 14mm thrust collar and 14mm thrust spacer 
  • 6 oil / coolant feed orings
  • 1 oil drain oring
  • 1 oil drain gasket

This rebuild kit provides durability above 22 psi. The upgraded thrust bearing, collar, and spacer are essential for the longevity of your turbo rebuild. Other similar products often have too small of oil holes causing lack of cooling resulting in failure.

The MMP turbos use a TDO4 compressor housing o-ring because it uses TDO4 compressor housings. Most TDO4 N54 turbos do not use TDO4 compressor housing, which is why this kit is specifically created for the MMP journal bearing turbo chargers. This rebuild kit in summary is an upgraded TDO4 rebuild kit that includes o-rings and 1 gasket for the oil and coolant lines included. This rebuild kit is not for MMP ball bearing turbochargers, please view our other listings.

Additional notes:  the MMP journal bearing turbos use a 19T billet 11 blade compressor wheel measuring 46.02mm x 58mm and a TDO4HL 45.6mm x 52mm 9 blade turbine.

I've been looking into various kits and components but this one seemed to fit my needs perfectly - all components included and the flexibility to cut strips (up to 6) to the lengths I needed. Its also very thin and needs no other mounting hardware, channels, diffusers, screws, etc. No instructions - but everything only fits together one way except which end of the LED strip to connect to (polarity). For my reel, it was towards the center of the reel and not the freed end - which meant I had to cut a piece off and connect the end that was just cut. Insert the cut end into the connect after peeling off a bit of the blue tape. You can also peel off a little bit of the white tape beneath that to expose the copper contacts - but the connector contacts can pierce that layer if you don't want to peel off the white layer also. (Don't peel it all off, just enough to to fit into the connector.) Insert the end, press down the hinged part until it clicks or is otherwise all the way clamped - don't need tools, just your fingers squeezing it is enough. Test the assembly by plugging it into the power supply. You can also connect the remote - a blue LED on the power supply tells you whether its on or off. Once I figured out which end to connect to, everything was quite straightforward. I installed my 6 strips in my small pantry - one for each shelf - and routed all the wires to one side, mostly hidden. I mounted the remote on the pantry door - it can sense through the door - which is not very thick - as well as just tapping it once the door is open. The remote can be touchless - just wave your hand near it - but it seems to also sense tapping from some objects. Holding down on the remote activates dimming - it will cycle through brightness and stop when you release. Other than that, its as simple as I had hoped and took me about an hour to install (I expect my next install will be 30 mins). I am planning to order more kits for other closets, kitchen, etc.
