Massive has stepped in and released a bracket that solves this issue with improved materials to avoid a repeat of this scenario in the future! 

Improved bracket for easier install and longer life, SC3 thickness zinc and yellow dichromate plated for corrosion resistance! Stainless clamp is isolated with rubber liner. Included SEM screw for simple fastener install. Kit contains plastic quick release clips which are often not included with many filters and easily breakable upon install.
