The BIAS “Sound Excite Machine” rack processor is a fairly obscure Japanese studio effect from the late-1980s / early-1990s boutique rack era. These were small-run devices sold mainly in Japan’s project-studio and broadcast markets, which is why documentation is scarce today. Bias described it in a market campaign as "A new sound processor that creates the natural dynamics and attack of human hand claps. It can add energy and presence to sounds such as drums, percussion, and vocals."

This unit has been used.
- This unit shows a small amount of general wear from use and age. This includes some small nicks, a bit of rack rash and some scratches. There is some slight surface oxidisation on the top. Please see all photos.
- This unit has been throughly tested and everything is working as it should. There are no faults to note.
- Please be aware, this unit is 100V. This means you MUST connect it to the correct step-down transformer before powering it on. If you are unsure about this feel free to send us a message as we would be glad to help you source the correct item. We also have some for sale HERE.
- The use of a step-down transformer may also apply to international buyers as well. Please ask if you are unsure so we can help you source the correct item.
- This sale is for the BIAS 1U rack only. Nothing else is included in this sale.
