The nicely toned wood handle has shrunk slightly from age, so the axe head feels slightly loose. This axe is beautiful with its desirable wooden handle and silver fittings. It’s a looker. Someone has carved a swastika in the throat of the handle; this is a nice personal touch. This axe would look great in anyone’s collection.
