Making your own fabric sewing machine it's so fun and the final piece is a unique handmade gift for any sewing lover! It's made out of paperboard, fabric and glue using the lovely craft cartonnage!! The machine has a drawer underneath and will be sturdy as wood, but made with your favorite fabric!

This DIY cartonnage Kit comes with all cardboard you need to make your own fabric sewing machine as shown in the pictures. The pieces of paper (chipboard and poster board) are precut in the right sizes you need for this project. The finished machine will be 10" x 10" x 6 1/2 ". With this DIY kit there is no worries about cutting paper. The chipboard used in this kit is 100 point (0.1 in) thick, extra heavy, so this machine will be very sturdy and well finished! Needle IS included. Fabric and other contents showed in pictures are not included. You will be able to choose how you want the handle, as a pin cushion or just for decoration, both options included in the instructions.

ONLINE INSTRUCTIONS AVAILABLE! The instruction is a very clear PDF tutorial (written tutorial) with 306 pictures showing in details step by step to guide you through the whole process (it is not video, it's written instruction with pictures), no steps missing, no guessing! Inside the kit you will find the password and easy directions to download the instruction to your computer. 

To make this fabric sewing machine you will need this kit, two coordinating fabrics (1 yard each), glue, rotary cutter, cutting board, a small paint roller with tray, paint brush, masking tape, scissors, paper awl or seam ripper, hot glue. T

Cartonnage tools (spatula, acrylic spacers and corner tool) will facilitate the process and give a better finishing for your project. Find them in the tools section of the shop.

Great Chair, But Armrests Are a Nuisance
This ergonomic office chair has a lot going for it. The mesh back is comfortable and breathable, the adjustable lumbar support is excellent, and the 3D headrest is a welcome addition for long workdays. The rocking function is also a nice feature to have. Overall, the chair is very comfortable and supportive, and seems well-made with the SGS Class 4 gas cylinder. However, there's one glaring flaw that constantly annoys me: the armrests. While they are 3D adjustable, meaning they move up and down, forward and back, and side to side, there's no way to lock them in place. This means that every time I shift in my seat or even just slightly bump the armrest, it moves. It's incredibly frustrating to constantly be readjusting them. It disrupts my focus and makes it hard to find a truly comfortable and consistent position. If the armrests could be locked, this chair would be near perfect. As it stands, this one issue significantly detracts from the overall experience. If you're someone who fidgets or moves around a lot while sitting, I'd seriously consider whether you can live with armrests that constantly need readjustment. For me, it's a daily annoyance that makes me question whether I'd buy this chair again.
