You'll be astounded by the capabilities the EZX has to offer, such as improved fuel economy, better towing capability, and customization via the CTS3 Monitor or smartphone app. When the module is removed, this module leaves no traces to helping to maintain your warranty and is a plug-and-play design for simple installation. This kit is an improvement that is safe, emissions-friendly, and designed especially for use as a daily driver and in towing applications.
This Edge Products EZX Module can change power levels on-the-fly and offers gains up to 63 horsepower and 108 ft-lbs of torque. The power settings can be adjusted with the CTS3 monitor or the smartphone app, which is accessible for both IOS and Android phones through their app stores. The Insight monitor unlocks a ton of features such as altering the TPMS settings, increasing idle RPM, correcting the speedometer for tire sizes up to 50 inches & gear ratio changes, and turning on fog lights when the high beams are engaged. Additionally, the EZX app enables you to read and erase check engine codes, run a manual DPF regeneration cycle, and determine your level of emissions preparedness.

More power, slightly lower (8%) MPG.

Installed on a 2.0 liter Subaru Impreza.
I drive up/down the I5 in california 3-4 times a year. For those that don't know there is about a 200 mile flat stretch where everyone runs at 75-85mph.
With various filters (FRAM, BOSCH, Subaru OEM), I would consistently get 29.8 mpg. Once I installed the K&N, I could feel the car pulling with a bit more power, but I noticed that I was getting about 27.5 mpg.
Totally worth it as the impreza is a little under powered and I don't drive many miles (6k/year) but if you are putting a lot of miles on your car, you may want to have more mpg.

Last December we bought our first new car in 21 years and the first thing I did is stock up on cabin and engine air filters. I've got nothing against dealership OEM parts and pieces but what I do have an issue with is the prices. Luckily, we all have a bit of control over access to OEM quality parts and pieces at significantly more reasonable prices via Amazon. This filter and it's matching cabin filter are excellent in value and take less than 5 minutes to replace. Compare that to paying the hourly rate at your dealer plus the dealership retail price and you'll do what I did and stock up on these two filters. Definitely recommended.
