8mg Melatonin, 750mg GABA, No-Hide Sleep Shutdown

5% Nutrition Knocked The F Out is a sleep powder where everything's listed out, based on a smart idea: getting to sleep is just half the battle. You also need to calm your nerves, quiet your racing thoughts, and back up the brain chemicals that help you relax and nod off. That's what this does. It stacks melatonin with stuff to chill your brain waves, relaxing herbs, and building blocks for serotonin instead of relying on melatonin alone.

The main player is 8mg melatonin. This is one of the best-studied sleep helpers out there, with big reviews showing it boosts sleep quality and fixes your body's clock. That's a solid dose—most products use 1-5mg, but 8mg is meant to hit hard, especially if you struggle to start sleeping. For some, that's awesome. For others, it means this isn't a lightweight option.

There's 750mg GABA too. Studies on taking GABA by mouth aren't perfect because it's not clear if it fully reaches the brain, but real-world tests show it can help you relax and shift to calmer vibes when stressed. 750mg is a dose you'll notice in a sleep mix, even if the science isn't airtight. People often say it helps dial down that wired feeling.

It also backs the serotonin-to-melatonin path with 500mg L-tryptophan, 30mg 5-HTP, and 2mg vitamin B6. Tryptophan is the starting point for serotonin, and reviews say you need around 1g for reliable faster sleep. So 500mg helps but isn't the full powerhouse on its own. 5-HTP at 30mg is on the lighter side compared to standalone stuff, but it fits here.

5% Knocked The F Out by 5% Nutrition contains 2mg Vitamin B6, a clinical dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Key Highlights

  • 8mg Melatonin — a beefy dose that makes this sleep aid pack a punch at night. It's the ingredient with the strongest backup for better sleep and fixing your rhythm, and 8mg is for folks who need more than a weak 1-3mg hit.
  • 750mg GABA — a real dose for bedtime that helps ease that overamped vibe. The research on swallowed GABA isn't all clear-cut, but user studies show it chills you out, and this amount is there to feel, not just look good on the label.
  • 650mg Chamomile Extract — one of the bigger herb doses in everyday sleep stuff. Chamomile's a go-to for relaxing without messing with hormones like melatonin does.
  • 500mg Lemon Balm Extract — a solid herb amount that teams up with GABA and chamomile. It's popular for cutting nervous jitters, perfect if stress is what keeps you up, not just the clock.
  • 500mg L-Tryptophan — straight-up fuel for the serotonin-to-melatonin chain. Top studies use 1g or more for quicker sleep, so this isn't maxed out alone, but it adds solid support in the mix.
  • 30mg 5-HTP from Griffonia simplicifolia — extra serotonin help that's a step ahead of tryptophan. It's not a huge dose versus solo products, but it plays nice with tryptophan and B6 in a sleep setup.
  • 2mg Vitamin B6 — looks tiny, but it's key for turning brain chemicals around, like linking those amino acids to serotonin.
  • 200mg Passionflower Extract — another classic herb thrown in for wider chill vibes. It helps balance the relaxation so no one thing carries the whole show.

Who Is This For?

  • Gym folks training evenings who crush workouts but can't unplug at home. 8mg melatonin, 750mg GABA, and hefty herbs target that tired-but-buzzing spot where your body's done but your head isn't.
  • Shift workers or odd-hour pros needing strong sleep kick when their body's clock is off. Melatonin's the timer fixer, with chamomile, lemon balm, and passionflower easing the mind grind for weird-timed rest.
  • Stressed bosses, students, and hustlers whose sleep snag is brain overload, not body tiredness. GABA, lemon balm, chamomile, and theanine aim to drop nerve hype without just knocking you out.
  • Athletes dialed into recovery who get that gains, hormones, and progress come from sleep more than extra daytime boosts. This gives a real night routine over booze, allergy pills, or random store buys.
  • Supp vets wanting a powder with all doses shown, no blends. You see every bit, so you can tell what's strong, what's backup, and if it suits you.
  • Folks who know weak melatonin doesn't cut it. With 8mg plus 500mg tryptophan and 30mg 5-HTP, it's for those after a bolder night helper.

How to Use

Stir 1 scoop into about 6-8 oz warm water 30-60 minutes before bed. That gives melatonin and the chillers time to work before you expect to crash, and taking it last second often misses the mark. If sleep aids hit you hard, try half a scoop first to check the 8mg melatonin vibe before going full. Use more water for milder flavor or sip slow as you unwind. Skip alcohol nearby and don't mix with other sleep helpers, sedatives, or serotonin stuff without okay. Big eats right before can slow any sleep supp, so hit it after food settles. No need to cycle like stims, but save it for full nights, not short sleeps. Keep it sealed cool and dry for fresh powder.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes: Mix it up and start winding down the day. No big rush, which is right for sleep stuff—it's about easing in, not slamming you. 10-30 minutes: The chill ingredients kick in with less brain edge and that 'on' feeling fading, especially if stress or late hype is your thing. 30-60 minutes: Melatonin's in charge now, helping you feel set for bed. 1-3 hours: If it matches you, falling asleep gets easier and quicker. First 1-7 days: You notice faster starts and the steady ritual most. 2-4 weeks: The real gain is routine—same chill every night makes bedtime predictable and boosts recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much melatonin is in 5% Nutrition Knocked The F Out?

Each 1-scoop serving provides 8mg of melatonin. That is a strong dose by sleep-supplement standards and is one of the main reasons this formula feels more assertive than basic low-dose melatonin products.

Is this just a melatonin product?

No. Melatonin is the anchor, but the formula also includes 750mg GABA, 650mg chamomile extract, 500mg lemon balm extract, 500mg L-tryptophan, 500mg inositol, 200mg passionflower extract, 75mg L-theanine, and 30mg 5-HTP. It is built as a multi-pathway sleep formula, not a one-ingredient shortcut.

When should I take Knocked The F Out?

Take 1 scoop 30-60 minutes before bed. That gives the melatonin and calming stack time to work before you actually want to be asleep, which is more effective than taking it right at lights out.

Should I start with a full scoop?

If you are sensitive to melatonin or have not used a stronger sleep aid before, starting with a half scoop is smart. The formula contains 8mg melatonin, and some users do better assessing tolerance before going straight to the full serving.

Will this make me groggy the next morning?

It can if you are very sensitive to melatonin, take it too late, or do not leave yourself enough time to sleep. The 8mg melatonin dose is effective, but it is also strong enough that timing and total sleep opportunity matter.

Why does this formula include both L-tryptophan and 5-HTP?

They support the serotonin pathway from different points. Tryptophan is the upstream amino acid precursor, while 5-HTP is one metabolic step closer to serotonin, so the formula uses both for layered pathway support rather than relying on only one precursor.

Can I stack this with another sleep supplement?

In most cases, no additional sleep aid is necessary because this already includes 8mg melatonin plus multiple calming ingredients. Be especially cautious about stacking with other melatonin products, sedatives, or alcohol.

Is the label fully transparent?

Yes. This product does not use a proprietary blend. Every listed active ingredient and its dose are disclosed, which is a major trust advantage in the sleep category.

Why is L-theanine only 75mg if studies often use 200mg?

At 75mg, theanine is better viewed as a supporting ingredient than a primary driver. The formula leans much more heavily on melatonin, GABA, chamomile, and lemon balm for its main effect, with theanine added as complementary relaxation support.

Can I use this every night?

Many users do, especially when trying to create a consistent bedtime routine. The biggest consideration is whether 8mg melatonin suits your personal tolerance and whether you are using it in a way that supports, rather than replaces, good sleep habits.

Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.

3.5 stars, A little boring to say the least.
Format: Kindle
Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.

A bewitching retelling of Arthurian legend!
Format: Kindle
In a land where the Fae have nearly become only a legend and those who still posses even a morsel of the blood are few and far between, Morgan finds herself cast aside by most of society due to her rumored half-Fae lineage, including her brother, King Arthur. With the kingdom at the brink of war, Arthur entrusts her with a quest to retrieve a Fae weapon of legendary power: the sword of Perun, Excalibur. Accompanied by men she loathes, Captain Kairos Draven and Ragnar Whitehorn, she embarks on her long and unbeknownst perilous journey, only to find that things she once believed to be myth are in fact very real. With devastating twists, omitted truths, witty banter and fierce action, Queen of Roses leaves you begging to know more about the secrets of Aercanum! Wow, wow, wow! Going into this story, I did not realize that it was going to be a retelling of Arthurian legend, especially not one with a fantastical twist! The unique spin almost gave me The Witcher vibes and I think adding Fae into the mix was quite interesting. I knew the basics of the legend but after reading this book, it has piqued my interest and makes me want to learn more about it. My attention was snatched as soon as I finished the prologue and I knew that I was going to devour this story. I truly enjoyed the gender swaps and even how Arthur was portrayed as villainous. Morgan’s past and even her parts of her present is absolutely heartbreaking, and I felt for her at times. I can only recall one other book that made me hate characters the way I despised Florian and Arthur, leaving me with my blood boiling and feeling disgusted. Even after finishing the book, Draven is still a mystery to me and I cannot figure out how to feel about him. I guess they just means that the author did an excellent job at conveying each character’s persona! The rich world building and imagery made it easy for me to visualize the places that the group visited along their journey. I am truly engulfed in this story and I cannot wait to see wait fate awaits Morgan and how the Fae will be even more incorporated in the next book!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Enchanting
Format: Kindle
"Queen of Roses" by Briar Boleyn is a delightful and refreshing reimagining of the classic tale of King Arthur, with a captivating twist that places the spotlight on Morgan, a character who has often been overshadowed in traditional retellings. Boleyn's creative decision to shift the narrative perspective to Morgan breathes new life into the story, offering readers an intriguing and compelling look at the Arthurian world from an entirely different angle. One of the most commendable aspects of this book is its incorporation of Fae elements, which adds an enchanting layer of magic and mystery to the already familiar Arthurian setting. Boleyn skillfully weaves the world of the Fae into the narrative, creating a captivating backdrop against which the events of the story unfold. This addition not only adds depth to the world-building but also provides ample opportunities for twists and turns that keep readers thoroughly engrossed. However, while the book boasts numerous strengths, it does have one noticeable flaw: the characterization of Morgan. While it is reasonable to create a flawed and complex protagonist, it appears that at times, Morgan's character becomes overly difficult and hard to relate to. Her persistently negative perception of one of the main male characters, who is a potential love interest, despite his efforts to support and assist her, may come across as somewhat irrational and could test the patience of some readers. Striking a balance between a strong, independent character and one who can recognize genuine support and affection could have enhanced the overall reader experience. Nonetheless, the allure of "Queen of Roses" lies in its innovative approach to the Arthurian legend and its skillful blending of fantasy elements into a familiar narrative. Boleyn's evocative prose draws readers into a world where magic, destiny, and fate entwine, leaving us eager to uncover the mysteries that unfold within the pages. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
