He is commemorated on February 17 and on the first Saturday of Great Lent for the miracle of the kollyva he performed.

The sides and the back of the icon are painted Byzantine red. On the gold gilded background icons, a resistant epoxy varnish with a beautiful crystal finish is applied and the name of the saint may be written in various languages: Greek, English, French or Russian.

Please note that some traditional inscriptions or scroll texts appearing within the icon image may remain in the original language of the icon prototype (such as Greek or Slavonic).
