The 120 grit Glass Stone is the coarsest option in the Shapton Glass Stone HR series and is specifically designed for use on very dull tools and knives. It features large grit particles that facilitate fast cutting and profiling.

Contrary to the traditional perception of sharpening stones as large and heavy, Glass Stones are thin, light, and strong due to the layers of tempered glass bonded together.
