The Spec6 is a fresh new take on the classic PROTOform body that captured the 2008 IFMAR Worlds at the hands of Marc Rheinard. While modern 190mm touring car bodies have gone the way of low-slung, ultra high-downforce designs, there is still a need for the more traditional, rounder and mellow-handling bodies for spec classes or track layouts with large sweeping corners. The Spec6 provides an ultra-smooth, high-corner speed feel, especially crucial in lower-power classes with handout motors.The Spec6 has been brought up to 2019 standards with increased flat surface area behind each wheel opening to allow for more forward mounting. This is made easier with the added Mounting Marks scribed into each wheel opening in 2mm increments.
The Spec6 is Made in the USA in 2 weight options: X-lite version will come in around 65g “race-ready” for high-grip surfaces where there is no weight limit. Our traditional lightweight version comes in around 85g “race-ready” for races such as ETS using the 85g limit.
The Spec6 is Global Body Spec compliant and fully-ROAR approved. Included with every Spec6 are our all-new rear wing mounting hardware with top “button” and bottom “nut”, decal sheet, window masks and overspray film.

It actually does the job pretty well

I floundered around for a few minutes, then figured out how to use it, and then made pretty good progress on my overgrown sidewalks. Yes, it uses up batteries but that's because it actually has enough power to do the job, unlike many "homeowner" tools. The handle is long enough so I'm not painfully bent over while using the tool, and it feels solid and stable. One thing I really appreciated is that it doesn't have a typical pointless, awkward "safety" interlock button that you're supposed to keep mashed down with your thumb the whole time - it's a comfortable one-finger trigger.
Another good 20v tool from Worx. I'm "in".
