USB Plug-and-Play† Linux / Android / Windows / Mac Compact Form Factor Great for Laptops & PCs Travel-Ready

What It’s Great For

  • Upgrading old PCs: add Wi-Fi to desktops and older laptops.
  • Linux & homelab: quick network access for live USBs and portable toolkits.
  • Android (OTG): connect supported tablets/phones for lab setups or troubleshooting.
  • Mac/Windows: replace a failed internal card with a simple USB solution.
📦 Package / What’s Included
  • Wi-Fi USB adapter (compact form factor).
OS: Linux • Android (OTG) • Windows • macOS
Frequency Band / Speed: 2.4 GHz / 150Mbps
Port: USB-A (use USB-C adapter if needed)
Modes: Client/Station (AP/Monitor vary by chipset)
💻 Compatibility & Chipset Notes
  • Windows 10/11: typically plug-and-play via Windows Update. Older Windows may need a driver.
  • macOS: modern macOS supports a limited set of USB chipsets; third-party drivers may be required for some versions.
  • Linux: many kernels include drivers for common chipsets. Some chipsets require DKMS/extra packages. Monitor/AP mode support varies by driver.
  • Android: requires OTG-capable device and OS support for the chipset; not all Android builds load external Wi-Fi drivers.
  • Pentesting use: special modes (monitor/injection) are chipset/driver dependent and not guaranteed; this product is sold for general networking use.

If you need a specific chipset (e.g., for Linux monitor mode), please contact us before ordering to confirm availability.

⚙️ Installation (Quick Steps)
  1. Windows: plug in → wait for auto-install via Windows Update → connect to your SSID. If not detected, install the driver from our link (QR in the guide).
  2. macOS: plug in → if unsupported natively, install the provided driver for your macOS version → reboot → connect.
  3. Linux: plug in → check lsusb and ip a → if needed, install DKMS/firmware packages from your distro repos → connect via Network Manager.
  4. Android: confirm OTG is enabled → use a USB-C/OTG adapter → connect (support varies by device/ROM).
  5. Raspberry Pi / Debian (multiple Wi-Fi adapters): When using a USB Wi-Fi adapter alongside built-in Wi-Fi, the system may continue using wlan0 (internal) even if wlan1 (USB) is connected.

    Quick setup:
    1. Connect using the USB adapter:
nmcli dev wifi connect "YourWiFiName" ifname wlan1 --ask
    2. Verify active connection:
    ip route
(Look for dev wlan1) 3. If needed, disable internal Wi-Fi to force USB usage:
    ip link set wlan0 down

Tip: Linux prioritizes interfaces using a “metric” (lower = higher priority). If both adapters are active, the system may still prefer wlan0 unless it is disabled.

Note: If connection drops after disabling wlan0, it may appear as a “freeze” (SSH disconnect), not a system issue.

Secure Boot: on some Linux PCs, third-party drivers require disabling Secure Boot or enrolling a module key.

🚀 Performance Tips
  • Use a USB 3.0 port for best throughput; avoid unpowered hubs.
  • Update your OS and router firmware for latest Wi-Fi features and stability.
  • Position the dongle away from metal obstructions; a short USB extension can improve reception.
🔧 Troubleshooting
  • Not detected: try another USB port, check Device Manager / lsusb, install/reinstall drivers.
  • Slow speed: connect to 5 GHz, move closer to the router, and confirm USB 3.0 is in use.
  • Drops/stability: update drivers/firmware; switch router channel width (20/40/80 MHz) if crowded.
  • Linux driver build issues: install kernel headers and DKMS; temporarily disable Secure Boot if required.

Good fit for Acura MDX
Size: 8.8" x 9.3" x 1.1"
This is an air cabin filter that will fit many cars, and in my case a 2019 MDX. Since this kind of filter is not doing anything critical like keeping dirt out of an engine, I shop around for non-OEM filters for something that strikes a balance between price versus performance. This filter just filters out dust in a car cabin, and when we’re not in our cars, we don’t have the benefit of an air filter when we are walking around outdoors. At a fraction of the price of an Acura filter, this filter seems to strike that balance. The filter media looks sturdy and is embedded with charcoal to help absorb odors. Installation is very straightforward in my MDX, and similar in most cars. There is a compartment door inside the glovebox that first must be removed before changing the filter. Pay attention to the direction flow arrow that shows which way the filter should be installed. Overall I am satisfied with this filter. It is inexpensive, fits perfectly, and seems to do the job just fine. It is definitely worth trying if you are trying to save money.

These filters do the job
Size: 2Pcs
Fits great in my '08 Accord LX and my '19 Accord Sport 2.0t. They filter air well and are easy to install like any cabin air filter in a Honda. I am pleased. Good value for the price.

Fit my 2014 Odyssey TE
Size: 8.8" x 9.3" x 1.1"
Comes with printed instructions for those who haven't changed it before. Here is the specific use case from my van. On my 2014 TE its easy to access behind the glove box, open to usual full open then just push the left and right sides in to allow the glove box to come fully out. It may pop off of the mounts, don't panic it snaps right back on. Then look for the little rectangular panel with two small levers on either side. on the black plastic under the dash that you can now see and access. Press the levers and pull towards you, doing a bit of a wiggle to get it out. Its tight, but it will come out with having to break it. Don't gorilla hands it, it will break. There is a directional arrow on the filter, which you have to remove from the wrapper before installing. Yes, someone *will* forget that. Reassembly the reverse of removal. Check that video sharing site online if you need visual instructions.
