Engineering for the Urban Grid

Every component of the HKM-761299 is selected to meet the demands of daily commercial use. From the 6061 aluminum alloy frame to the hydraulic stoppers, no compromise has been made.

High‑Efficiency Brushless Powertrain

The 2000W peak (1500W continuous) geared hub motor delivers 90 Nm of torque directly to the rear wheel. A sine‑wave controller ensures smooth, silent throttle response and regenerative braking that recovers energy during deceleration. Choose between Eco (20 mph / 32 km/h), Normal (28 mph / 45 km/h), and Sport (37 mph / 60 km/h) modes to match your route profile and battery strategy.

Intelligent Dual‑Battery Architecture

Two 48V 20Ah lithium‑ion packs (total 1920 Wh) are housed in a locking, weather‑sealed compartment. The proprietary Battery Management System (BMS) monitors individual cell voltage, temperature, and state‑of‑charge, automatically switching between packs or drawing from both in parallel for reduced sag under load. Remove either battery for off‑bike charging in 4‑6 hours using the included 3A fast charger. A full charge delivers up to 100 miles (160 km) in Eco mode, or approximately 55 miles (88 km) in mixed city riding.

Forged 6061 Aluminum Frame

The hydroformed aluminum frame weighs just 11.5 lbs (5.2 kg) yet supports a gross vehicle weight of 480 lbs (218 kg). Integrated internal cable routing protects wiring from snags and corrosion, while the low‑step design makes mounting effortless when the rear rack is loaded. A reinforced head tube and double‑crown fork accommodate the additional stress of heavy cargo without flex.

Hydraulic Disc Brakes & Fat Tires

Front and rear 203 mm rotors with dual‑piston hydraulic calipers provide consistent stopping power, even with a full 400 lb (181 kg) payload. The 20″ x 4.0″ puncture‑resistant fat tires run at 5‑30 PSI, absorbing road chatter and offering grip on wet pavement, gravel, and light trails. Combined with a suspension fork (80 mm travel), the HKM-761299 floats over potholes that would unsettle smaller‑wheeled bikes.

Smart LCD Dashboard & Connectivity

A backlit 4.3″ IPS display shows real‑time speed, battery percentage, power output, trip meter, and estimated range. Integrated Bluetooth® Low Energy pairs with the companion smartphone app (iOS/Android) for ride logging, anti‑theft geofencing, and over‑the‑air firmware updates. USB‑C port on the display lets you charge a phone or navigation device on the go.

Why the HKM-761299 Outperforms Conventional Delivery Bikes

  • Zero tailpipe emissions – meets strict urban low‑emission zones while cutting fuel costs by up to 80% compared to gas scooters.
  • Instant torque, no shifting – single‑speed transmission means fewer maintenance points. Just twist the throttle and go.
  • Modular cargo ecosystem – optional insulated food bag, lockable parcel box, and passenger kit adapt the rear rack in seconds.
  • Lower total cost of ownership – no oil changes, spark plugs, or clutch replacements. Regenerative braking extends brake pad life.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the real‑world top speed?
In unlocked Sport mode, the HKM-761299 reaches 37 mph (60 km/h) on level ground with a full charge. In Normal mode it is limited to 28 mph (45 km/h), and Eco mode caps at 20 mph (32 km/h) to maximize range. Local regulations may require speed restriction; consult your jurisdiction.
How do the dual batteries work together?
The system operates in parallel discharge mode by default, drawing equally from both packs to reduce current stress. If one battery is removed or depleted, the bike seamlessly runs on the remaining pack. You can also run a single battery to reduce weight for short trips.
Can I remove the batteries for charging?
Yes. Each 20Ah pack locks into the frame with a keyed mechanism and can be removed in seconds. They charge via a standard 3A charger (included) in approximately 4‑6 hours. An optional 5A fast charger reduces time to about 3 hours.
What is the maximum load capacity?
The rear cargo rack is rated for 220 lbs (100 kg), while the total payload (rider + cargo) is 400 lbs (181 kg). The frame and wheels are engineered for commercial use; however, always distribute weight evenly and secure loads properly.
Does it have regenerative braking?
Yes. The sine‑wave controller supports regenerative braking that engages when you lightly apply the brake levers or use the adjustable regen throttle. It helps recover 5‑8% of energy in stop‑and‑go traffic and reduces brake pad wear.
Is the HKM-761299 street legal?
Classification varies by region. In many U.S. states it falls under Class 3 e‑bike regulations when operated with pedal assist up to 28 mph (45 km/h). Unlocked throttle‑only mode may require registration as a moped or motorcycle in some areas. Always check local laws.

i should have waited for there to be reviews posted
Format: Kindle
I'm being more generous than I should because this is a debut novel i downloaded this book because i like why choose and band romances i figured that it wouldn't take too long to get back to where the prologue was because the prologue seemed to be less than a day before they met the FMC and the MMCs don't meet til 60 % of the way in which for a Romance novel kinda hard for the relationship to develop or for there to be plot beyond them just meeting in a way where the FMC really lacks agency a lot of early plot and character things are forgotten about after they met it's almost as if the last third of the book was written first and then they went back to write backstory separately but forgot there needs to be a plot i get wanting to have background on the characters, but there has to be a way to do it without constant time jumps and no plot progression. Tessa's story jumps around a week lead up so much also the band aspect is very much an afterthought in the novel Spoilers-- one of the MMCs is openly pan and one of them has been dealing with a bi awakening but being somewhat defensive about it and once Tessa arrives that gets forgotten about til the epilogue and even then doesn't actually confront his sexuality the wrap up of the church hiding her name is tied up with a quick sentence, but no real consequences for anyone i honestly thought she forgot about family pack IRS deal until the final chapter and that gets resolved in an unsatisfying way the pack is upset that Tessa gets viewed as an object and tricked into the contract but has no interest in making the company's wrongdoings public or trying to prevent this from happening to other omegas tessa goes over a lot of struggles of homelessness but she only thinks about food waste once after joining the pack -- you'd think she'd use her newfound wealth and power to help other homeless individuals, especially youths and omegas. even a little side note to say that a portion of tour proceeds or her family fortune would go towards public food pantries and shelters would've done something to connect her beginning character to the end character

BORING and too long
Format: Kindle
I could not believe how wordy and boring this book was. No spice at all. Slow burn is really a NO burn. Almost DNF and now I’m sorry I stuck with it. 500 pages could ave been 150 and it would have been more than enough. I highly doubt not recommend this work of yuck.

Still 4 stars
Format: Kindle
A little to much before and to much dive into the days, months before, but I still kept reading. Maybe because of that you could read about them all. I just couldn't put this book in my to read another day list. I just wanted to know what happens to them.

Promising but not without issues
Format: Kindle
First off, the FMC and the pack don't meet until about 60% of the way through. That's just way too late honestly. I can appreciate the backstory of the band and the FMC, but I skimmed at times wondering when they'd meet. I did like the writing and premise but I thought the execution needed a lot of work. The characters were pretty well developed, but they didn't spend that much time on the page together, so I thought that led to the story suffering. I will give her another shot, as I think the writing has promise... It just didn't come all together in a way that I could wholeheartedly recommend.
